    Imho it's pretty difficult because of geography. Both the tibetan plateau and the gobi desert ensure that you need to take the gansu corridor. And it's pretty far from china's power base. It's not impossible but I just think it unlikely.

    That's a whole other level of "how do we get that" though. Things were very much in favor of the Allies by that point and they won't launch the invasion if it doesn't have a reasonable chance of success.

    One potential butterfly of a big Danish victory may be that there won't be proper crews for Bismarck and/or Tirpitz once they finish, as the two pre-dreadnaughts must surely have been used to train the crews of the new battleships.
