The (Global) South Rises: Collaborative TL

global south =/= southern hemisphere https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southern_Hemisphere in the OP you said India, China, and the Middle East were part of the Southern Hemisphere, that's wrong.

Right up until the point when the pressure cooker explodes, which is why I’ve always thought that the original constitution of the CSA would end in revolution. Especially if something happens that causes the poor whites to make common cause with the slaves, and there are plenty of ways that that...

Stupendous as always, @CosmicAsh. I am inspired and generally bowled over by your ability to not only turn out great lore, but great graphics. Now for some questions: Why were the peace terms imposed on France comparatively more lenient? Did Napoleon I accept an alt-Frankfurt proposal ITTL? If...

Funny you should mention that: August 8, 1971: Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev announces a Treaty of Friendship with Global South leaders in New Delhi, fueling concern amongst American and European leaders,.... September 17, 1978: Camp David Accords; Global South leaders call for the...
  6. Romanov Ascendant: What if the Soviet Union survived?

Well this world is going to change a lot, South America I see is starting to catch a little fire if the CIA is already deploying their own death squads instead of relying on local help. I predict by the end of the Year a mass executions of political prisoners if their this worried already. Now...

Read about the The Campaign of 1759. They can't just sail up the river, and lay siege to the place.

Anyways, I'd suggest having Kwame Nkrumah stay in England, so that he doesn't end up hijacking the Ghanian independence movement and turning the most promising country in Africa into a corrupt authoritarian hell-scape loathed by its neighbours.

"If They Want It They Can Have It": Ulster's Tragedy.

Absolutely. It wouldn't have been quite so dispiriting if it had just been the maniacs of both colours who resented our presence. By and large, the communities also resented our presence. From our point of view, we'd protect them from the maniacs of the other side, and they'd still spit at us...

    Napoleon 2nd in 1830?

I remember reading in the Napoleonic Code that the age of majority was 18, but an adult male acquired all his powers at 21 years of age. However, in the case of Napoleon II it is logical to assume that he would have an early age of majority with full powers at 18 years of age.

Allow me to give a counterpoint. Maoism-Third-Worldism and Sakaiiism, as well as the work by a certain Italian Stalinist historian has some different viewpoints from orthodox Maoism regarding the capability of revolutionary potential in Global North workers, I don't think Mao said anything...

    Napoleon 2nd in 1830?

Looks like Louis XIV was declared of age as soon as he turned 13, but wasn't coronated until he was nearly 16... of course that was 180-odd years earlier. I suppose Nap II would be able to ascend the throne at 19 without difficulties...

    Napoleon 2nd in 1830?

Austria is not suicidal (well, at least in this part of European history). Supporting the enthronement of none other than the son of the Universal Usurper would make the other European nations look down on Austria. Worse, placing that young man on the throne of France does not guarantee any...

Richmond's not going to blink on slavery in the 1880s; heck, they might not even have blinked in the _19_80s. (We have systems of unfree labor in the US today, and we weren't founded on the right to do that.) I could see a Black President of the Confederacy but you'd need a significant...

  16. Napoleon 2nd in 1830?

For a long time it was 13 years for monarchs. I am not sure if that was still the case in 1830, but then, the rules were being rewritten anyway. He was nominally the king at the age of five but a regent was required until at least 13.

Which is a completely separate concept from the Southern Hemisphere, a geographic term denoting everything south of the equator and excluding everything north of it.

Hey! :extremelyhappy: I was actually planning on making a map of Europe ITTL in Worlda, atleast based on my speculations. But I'm happy to see your cannon take on it. It's pretty long, so I also recommend reading the TV Tropes page for a quick rundown on all the notable events, both gaming and...
