  1. A Queen Twice Over: Mary Tudor the Elder Marries Francis I of France

Makes sense - after all, Henry's got what he wanted.
  2. What if Europe stayed primarily united as an empire as China did?

I agree with Bengal but um... India was in no ways ever unified under the mughals, not for 500 years, not for 100 years not for 10 years.
  3. AHC: Make George W. Bush pull an LBJ, and announce he won't run in 2004.

Steps: 1) Either no 9/11, or a later 9/11. The GOP is generally considered better for military action, so an attack- even under a Republican- would not harm them as much as the Democrats (we only failed to stop these attacks because of the pinko pacifists in Congress! Bush will save us!), and...
  4. Resetting the NBA Back to 1980

I do plan to have that actually good alignment to happen, so I do plan to have another Atlantic team. Thanks for the suggestions!
  5. BELFAST

"If They Want It They Can Have It": Ulster's Tragedy.

These guys know how to throw stones.
  6. A Hippie in the House of Mouse (Jim Henson at Disney, 1980)

That could be interesting I vaguely remember seeing the BBC versions on PBS. Maybe the Witch's army can be more impressive and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader would benefit too. I also hope any adaption feels freer to edit and change things, Silver Chair particularly had problems. Making Jill...
  7. Is it possible for the balkans to keep romance speaking under a Byzantine Empire able to repeal slavic invasions?

Wouldn't Latin stay a government language of the Byzantines though if they keep the romance speaking areas that they lost otl before switching to Greek?

WI: Canada accepts Article Eleven and joins the United States?

Now, having wrote that, I think I may have a potential idea for how to get the OP fulfilled, but it would require a huge amount of patience on the part of the Continental Congress and probably jettisoning everything they stood for, if they want to attract the support of the habitants. Instead...
  9. What if Europe stayed primarily united as an empire as China did?

Europe with it's abundance of rivers, easy to access coal, and iron is by far the most likely place for an industrial revolution to start, or pick up steam so to speak
  10. WI: The Holy Roman Empire Without Napoleon

That's the main thing I think- without a good reason, I don't even think you'll necessarily have the larger estates mediatising the smaller ones, and while I maintain the view that the empire wasn't actually sick and dysfunctional at the turn of the 19th century, even I would say that something...
  11. The (Global) South Rises: Collaborative TL

So if what you've established in this ATL supposedly already happened OTL - then this timeline is just a whole load of nothing?

What if Europe stayed primarily united as an empire as China did?

Ah, apologies. So it be more a straight line with bumps as opposed to stagnation and big breaks?
  13. PC: Black POTCS

I know I asked soonest possible but that might've been excessive. I honestly meant after 1900. I believe that the combined threats of economic collapse and Haiti 2.0 make good motivators.
  14. TheKennedyMachine.

AHC: Make George W. Bush pull an LBJ, and announce he won't run in 2004.

As it says in the title, you guys know the deal.
  15. Bronze Age comics PODs

But in the long term, wouldn't having Jason Todd survive entail the following: No Red Hood No Outlaws No Tim Drake as Robin No Stephanie Brown by extension, as she was created to be his partner No Young Justice comic, or the details are way different Sounds pretty massive on a large scale.
  16. WI The Hunt For Red October?

    Lithuania.
  17. Sports What Ifs.

I think packers would take him, Darell thompson seems was always plan B, Cardinals as we drafted a RB that year too(could trade up and avoid the waste of picks 1991 was anyway)
  18. WI: no Charles Martel

Why just Septemania? if the Merovigeans start to get overwhelmed by saxons, they can ask help their southern neighbor now too
  19. WI: The Enterprise completes its five year mission (Star Trek survives for 5 seasons)

Yeah, and we get Ilia too at some point because I want some continuity between TOS, TAS and TMP. TAS's primary cast is Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Chekov (who was not in TAS in OTL), Ilia, M'Ress and Arex. Sulu and Uhura don't make a lot of appearances. Takei is busy in local government in LA...
  20. "What Madness Is This?" Volume II: Prophecies in the Dark

I think Europa will survive, given the references to "the beginning of modern Europan totalitarianism" in Napoleon VI's reign, but they will probably have a tough time. The hardships of war with the NHRE and the American/possibly Iluminist threat might well be what pushes them over the edge.
