  1. East and West - a Lithuania TL

I managed to miss there being updates to the TL. One short note - it's Lietuva, not Leituva :)
  2. Map Thread IV

I just generally believe in the right of national determination, or whatever it's called. I.e. every nationality should be allowed their own country, if they want it. Somehow I have trouble believing that Balkan Slavs would want to be ruled by the Turks (I don't know what the North African...

Russowank / Ottowank doesn't sound like a utopia to me... Oh, and the irony is that even among all those wanked megastates, Italy is still not unified, at least not entirely.
  4. EU3 Expansion Packs: Disappointing

When in a war, you should see a small shield next to the minimap. Click it, and you will see the war overview, with war capacities and stuff like that. It may give you a better idea of why the AI does things the way it does.
  5. EU3 Expansion Packs: Disappointing

Yes, inheritances can happen, but I think the default message setting for them is pop-up, so I didn't consider that possibility. I think there is a random chance that you will inherit a country you have a royal marriage with if their ruler dies young (where "young" is something inherently...
  6. EU3 Expansion Packs: Disappointing

Such things happen with the AI. In my current game as Milan, Hungary has been at war against a breakaway Ukraine for a decade, had been completely occupied by Ukraine + rebels, but still never collapsed nor made peace... By the way, you cannot annex countries that have more than 1 province. The...
  7. EU3 Expansion Packs: Disappointing

See, it's not that bad :) I've seen lots of comepletely ahistorical situations in IN games even with the most historical setting available. And without them (i.e. with random leaders, monarchs, lucky nations, etc.), the world is usually impossible to recognise after 100 years. But it still feels...
  8. AH Challange -> Biplane Evermore

Well, biplanes are better than monoplanes because they have more wing area stuffed into a smaller width. As a result, biplanes could possibly have evolved to be used in cramped places. Maybe in a cyberpunkish world with huge metropolises with lots of skyscrapers, there would be a need of what is...
  9. EU3 Expansion Packs: Disappointing

Yes, I am exaggerating a little. However, the point is that a majority of the EU3 players were disappointed by the vanilla's non-determinism. So the developers listened to their demands, that's all. As I said - don't play it ;) MM mods aim to give an even more historical feeling to the game...
  10. EU3 Expansion Packs: Disappointing

So, basically, you were unable to conquer the world in 100 years, so the game is disappointing? Well, nobody forces you to play NA or IN, you can stick to vanilla EU3 if you prefer. And by no means try Magna Mundi :p

It's not only cyrillic, but also not Russian. Ukrainian, perhaps? Or some other Slavic language? Although I dislike the content, the map looks nice.

    Polish Australia!!!!!:eek::eek::eek::D
  13. A more Leftie World

I was born left-handed as well, so I am fully aware of that. But a small percentage of humans being left-handed doesn't mean said humans have different chirality of proteins in their bodies, there might be a number of other reasons for the handedness. A majority left-handed population would lend...
  14. A more Leftie World

IIRC, predominant right-handedness of human population has something to do with chirality (spirali-ness) of some protein molecules in our bodies. This chiraliness is also responsible for us being able to digest most forms of food. So unless we also consider most of the food (and in general...
  15. East and West - a Lithuania TL

39, he was born in 1348. I'm looking forward to seeing how this develops :)
  16. Map Thread IV

Is it possible to get the base map of this anywhere? I would be grateful :) The map is awesome.
  17. East and West - a Lithuania TL

Velnias means Devil in Lithuanian, and from the account I suppose it was easy to identify the Teutons with the devils. A very nice start of the TL - I honestly didn't expect it to go that way after the very beginning. Looking forward to more.

Fitting thousands of states into what is OTLs modern Lithuania - now that would be a challenge. "Unholy Totally Not Roman Empire (Yeah Right) of the Lithuanian Nation", and Corporate Principality of Dauparai-Balbieriškis-Raudonė-Raudondvaris-Bezdonys-Kražiai-Puvočiai-Vidugala for the absolute win :D
  19. Map Thread IV

Wait... is that in LTTW? Damn you - now I just have to go and read it, despite the fact that I have far too much work on my hands.:D
  20. Map Thread IV

Thank you. The lakes have a different colour only when they are internal parts of the Republic. The whole Republic is shown "glowing", including the internal waters.
