I would certainly wish a good definition of what is meant by people's will. My age is more then 50. I have seen for what my parents voted for, and were crushed by the same.

The problem is, anywhere a Jewish state would be constituted, a problem would become. Maybe a Latin America would be a better joice, then Palestine. Maybe the correct answer to Holocaust would be - no state. This would be the only logical answer.

Liberal capitalism was surely not in after WII in Czechoslovakia. Socialist tendencies were even much more marked in Czechia then in Slovakia. Nationalization decrets of Benes where not thought up by Communists. So it would lead to leftis regime in someway, but not a Dictature of Proletariat...

In Czechia I do not think the ideology of Nazis was the greatest issue..... They just invaded us. Lots of our best people died. Thats why they were the bad guys.

Yes, you are right. Communist got 40% in 1946. Not a majority but quite a lot in our voting system. And yes, I am talking about generation of my parents. They were young but very far from stupid at the time. Hard to understand for me sometimes, but I try. And I would also wish my grandchildren...

You sort of forgot the people. How do you think all became supporting communists? By power - no. Soviets freed them from Germans. The USA stopped at Plzen because they agreed with Russians. And let the Prague bleed. And all remembered Mnichov. And wanted better world. Communists were voted...

I think Britons can be a source of intelligent culture after WW3. You have goog morals (well as far as I can imagine in this troubled world). So probably you can brace some real disasters. Of course thisi s maybe a good reason to decimate you first .:(

This simply does not work. They used to be Nomads. Our previouse social establishment (Czechoslovakia) - concentrated them in new build areas - well, it just hurt them. And hurt the areas as well. I am not sure if you can build a Nomad culture now in Europe. And the current Roma in our country...
