OK, I missed a lot of action since last I left this TL. Has there been a lot of vengeance so far, and have the consequences been grim?

Preston Brooks POTCS? Giving General Fremont a pair? I like where this TL is heading, and it's only just begun.

Is there going to be a Confederate nuke? Or will only the Union develop the atomic bomb?

I was going to ask what the status of games like the Pokemon TCG, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Magic: the Gathering, and D&D/Pathfinder were in the CSA ITTL, but I'm afraid it's too late to ask that now. Looks like TTL is screwed.

Just a thought: Will the CSA's excellent air force lead to a world-class space program?

How long might the ACW lasted had the South decided to go into a guerrilla phase (which IMHO would have been terrible for the South both in the short and the long run)?

Heavens! From what I've read in the last several updates, it really looks as if the CSA's military hardware is the envy of the world.

Would the influx of Northern-produced ACW film ITTL be helpful or harmful to the Lost Cause myth? My gut suggests the latter.

I second Robert E. Lee as Uncle Sam. Maybe "Dixie" as a female allegorical figure? Making her look like a Southern belle holding the Stars and Bars might be a tad ridiculous, however.

Whew. Glad to see the CSA survive after all - and with slavery dead to boot. Now, onward to a world power....

Just out of curiosity, since we are diverging pretty far from OTL by now, are we seeing any fictional characters yet, or were these all still real people?

I'd say go for a combination of a) plausible and b) cool. Which would probably be a combo of options A and B. "Dead of states' rights," here we come.... :(

...and the Confederacy's dogged insistence on hanging onto an age-old, obsolete, and morally degrading practice comes back to bite it in the butt. I hope the CSA doesn't end up "dead of states' rights."
