I'll second this and request colors for oil/hydrocarbons, mercury or other liquid metals (gallium), and perhaps acids of the sci-fi green metal-eating kind. I think that the current syrup color could be a good oil/hydrocarbon color.

Here's a very early, very unpolished and very not set in stone WIP. The names on my makeshift easy-to-remember legend might give some clues. I still should have taken people's advice when they said that the colors are going to do me in.

I think that Venus is based off of my own basemap, or at least based on the same sources, but this one looks more accurate to me than my original in some places.
