I'd definitely recommend a return trip someday. Independence Hall is very cool. The Philadelphia Museum of Art is outstanding. Valley Forge is nearby. And we have soft pretzels! Just stay away from Camden....
I've never been to Hershey, either, but it doesn't really interest me. Theme parks aren't really my thing, and I don't think Hershey's Chocolate tastes that good. But whatever floats your boat.
Do you remember what you saw in Philadelphia?
I've never been to Gettysburg but I know some people who have. It's a popular class trip for area schools (my middle school class trips were both to Washington DC).
I've heard Pittsburgh is on the up-and-up and gentrifying rapidly. Same goes for Philadelphia. There are a lot of interesting...
There's a similar thing going on in Pennsylvania. Everyone focuses on Philadelphia (where I live) or Pittsburgh and doesn't really think about the mountains and coal country in the middle.
I know it is near Albany. You live way upstate, then.
I don't know anyone near Buffalo. I do know it has some interesting architecture and urban planning, even though I've never been.
