Well, not time travel in the conventional sense. More like one person (in this case, Reeves) being able to alter some aspects of future history (where Bullock resides, two years in the future), using the mailbox at the waterfront house as a communications portal between the time periods.

I'm actually pretty interested in this movie, specifically because of the time travel aspect. There's a scene in the preview where Reeves plants a tree for Bullock and, two years later, its grown really big. Yeah, it's minor things, but I'm still interested. :)
