  1. American invasion

One of the interesting things to consider is that even if you somehow get passed the USN, landing on the west coast puts you in urban combat with perhaps the largest irregular militia in waiting on the planet. Not only that, but its a small arms irregular militia subsidized with a heavy weapons...
  2. Nazi Architecture madness

So I was looking at some image searches for the Breitspurbahn (Hitlers giant train) and I was wondering why no renders exist of it having three floors to it. Seems like it would be ideal for three floors. Perhaps because the idea of three floors was considered to cramped?
  3. WI: Japanese conduct in WW2 honourable?

Yeah, it would be a very different world. One I am considering for my potential TL where the US ends up staying closer to Britain well into the 1800's and only pulls away in the 1830's in a mildly peaceful manner (basically a limited war). Native American's still get the short end of the stick...
  4. WI: Japanese conduct in WW2 honourable?

There was an interesting story here on AH that revolved around the US creating a 'special relationship' with Japan (might be 'Americas's Manifest destiny by Jim Smitty). It is ASB, but the situation isn't too wild for the US to make a strong relationship with Japan and have an alternate WW2...
  5. Modern Nazi Germany

Whole range of possibilities when the old guard Nazi's die off. Worst case scenario, a new dictator comes to power and has to (continue to) centralize many sectors of the economy to ensure his power and popularity. This leads to Germany stagnating for quite some time. It could go the way of...

Nope, territories that are under some level of administration and aide from other American powers. They just don't have the economic or political strength to formulate a nation yet, partially due to squabbles from other nations. Lawrence might want part of OTL Greenland and OTL Nunavut...

The only reason I did that was to avoid confusing it with the Empire of Columbia, which is another ATL nation in this world I have. Interesting thing about Seattle. I actually figured it was a native name for a place, not a person, so that is why I chose it. Thanks for the info. The...

Oh this is a .ai file used in adobe illustrator. Its a vector art program. When you download the file on to your desktop or wherever you want to save it, open in it adobe illustrator. Not sure if that helps. Vector art works on different fundamentals than raster imagery.

http://sourceforge.net/projects/epsmapsfordesig/ There you go. It uses a lot of RAM so heads up. Tallest Skil does a lot of great work with this map and showed it to me. But then I am getting anachronistic again. I will do some adjustments later. Will figure something out. Anyways...

Yeah I am thinking I might do some stuff with the border and the Colorado river. Just that shape maker tool is so annoying sometimes! Its just a time commitment I have to make. Commonwealth of Houston Population 55 million Capital: Houston City The bottom left corner annoys me even...

It is pre-revolution, but little changes until the revolution. Many of the east coast states are re-organized into commonwealths using their original borders to some extent with some modifications. I am imagining a bit of a piecemeal revolution that fizzled out, but some autonomy and...

Yeah there was more on the previous page, but I have some more on the way. I honestly spend more time trying to come up with population estimates more than anything. I really need to dive into the history for these places, but that might get its own thread when I have time...
