  1. "How Few Remain" TV Miniseries in the Works

As a point of reference, does anyone remember SciFi Channel's bastardization of "Riverworld"? Both of them?!? Dipping very lightly into the 5 novels plus several short stories to use for plot and characters, they more resembled episodes of "Xena" rather than anything of Farmer's creation...
  2. Native Americans as landlords for white settlers

The Native Americans need to have population densities similar to Europe's to able to push back against the European invasions that are coming. That gives them the fighters that they needed to protect their territory. As soon as the Dutch, Brits, Spanish and French had sufficient numbers here...
  3. Extra 100 years and 500 years for native American cultures to develop?

Without some kind of outside stimulus don't expect the pre-contact native American cultures to change much.
  4. Drakaverse or Guns of the South

Guns of the South. You can't possibly go wrong with it. Save the Draka to read over a long winter's weekend. Not that it's so great, but because so many people already have read it, you need to for reference. ;)
  5. AH Novels to Avoid

Although, his "Castro's Bomb" novel was really pretty good. At least I liked it.
  6. Japanese naval decisions in the 1930's

Since Japan can't win the war no matter how you deal the cards, then let it start a new game. Instead of military power it uses commercial and economic power to get what it wants. Japanese companies open factories, mines, refineries, etc. in China and Korea and elsewhere to fuel her economy...
  7. President Bush Assassinated on 9/11

I always heard from my leftie friends that both Bush and Cheney would "bring back slavery" if re-elected. I wonder want ever happened to that?:D
  8. President Bush Assassinated on 9/11

I don't think that Cheney runs for election in 2001, due to his health or he doubts his chances for winning or maybe during his short stint as stand-in president he thinks it's just not worth it. Anyway, he's out. Probably McCain runs and wins as America is still in a killing mood and perhaps...
  9. AHC: Carrier large enough to take B-52s

Dump the B-52 already! It's old, huge and slow. If you're really looking to base a strategic bomber on a carrier (no matter how large) use the B-58 Hustler. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/B-58_Hustler It's a better fit on giant carrier and looks so much cooler than a B-52!
  10. AHC: Carrier large enough to take B-52s

Let's just arm all the Navy's fighter-bombers with nukes. That way you have the punch of a B-52 without the size or support problems. :D Conventional bombs? We don't need no stinkin' conventional bombs!
  11. Gone The New Hope

Obviously we are not speaking of the real world here. With millions rolling in from around the world weekly after "Star Wars" release, Hollywood will be screaming "Sequel, Sequel, Sequel!". If anyone believes that one dead actor stops the Hollywood money train, you just don't know Hollywood...
  12. ATL USN carriers.

It's already been said a number of times but "Too many elevators!" If you're serious about improved aircraft handling then go directly to the angled deck concept. You can then have room for the 3 deck edge elevators (see CVN class carriers for placement) and since the WW2 planes were smaller...
  13. The Man in the High Castle Adapation

If this is the version with the giant flying squid battling a giant flying polar bear over Florida while Stephen Baldwin races against time to restart the carbon cycle with an A-bomb, I can't hardly wait!
  14. DBWI: United States to this extent?

Yes but that really applied only to the Irish and the Paki's, the rest of the Empire's population has enjoyed an relatively encouraging amount of civil liberties for some time now.
  15. DBWI: United States to this extent?

I too am surprised that America has not expanded further than it has. A natural route of expansion would be the vast watershed that leads west to the Padre de los Rios bordering the western edge of the Crown's territory with Spain. I read that King George had paid off the all the tribes west...
  16. AHC: Make the worst movie you ever saw good

OMG, you actually watched it!?! You're a braver man than I! Besides, "Disney original movies" are anything but original. Just excuses to pimp the next in line Disney Princess (Debbie Ryan) to the 'tween audience cuz Miley and Demi and Selena have left.
  17. Bayonets Won't Cut Coal: The Socialist Republic of Britain

I generally don't get into these British political/social/etc. TL's - mostly from my ignorance of the OTL players and events - but this one I'm following! More please! :)
  18. China VS USA how would it go?

Dude, that's what the Trillion Dollar coin is for!
  19. Historian: The Alternate

Subscribed! One question - were Fox's broadcast ratings really ever a challenge to Showtime's premium cable numbers? I would have thought that they were two different animals. Anyway, excellent TL and more please!
  20. AHC: Save the History Channel

Don't forget the James Taylor, Joan Baez and Peter, Paul and Mary concerts that the local PBSer's run during every Pledge Week.
