  1. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

Ok, thanks. And I ageee. Did saville's crimes come to light in this timeline?
  2. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

If it blows up, possibly. Hopefully. I want the culture to change sooner.
  3. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

Oh. Has Dan been accused of this stuff in real life? I don't know. This might blow up like Weinstein though.
  4. Rumsfeldia: Fear and Loathing in the Decade of Tears

The main problem, I think, is that she is thirteen, and very well could have been 10-12 when all this was happening. The clear pedophilia would hopefully overshadow the fury and desire for vengeance. I think if Lucy were aged up to an adult the extent of the backlash would make more sense.
  5. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

I swear to god if Jobs's temper screws over Apple... I probably, like in OTL, would have mainly played Nintendo but would have also played some Apple games. Say, question: which update was the fire emblem wave game (the one with the multiple paths where you're playing the tribe of exiles) in...
  6. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

Never played Gears of War. Does it have monotonous enemies, evil protagonists portrayed as heroic in a consequence-free power fantasy, and rampant misogyny?
  7. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

Given the cultural differences, I unfortunately don't think that's possible. I mean, the game is pure dudebro. If anything, Ogrekill would be even worse OTL.
  8. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

2007 and misogyny is a huge criticism for the game. I really like how dudebroism still isn't as pervasive as it is OTL.
  9. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

Oh boy. This is going to be nasty when it drops (I edited my prior post by the way). People outside Cleveland?
  10. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

Ok, thanks. So this is hitting mainstream? What do the people in Cleveland think of it? EDIT: Given the domestic violence issues boiling over earlier I expect this to be absolutely disastrous for the NFL. The good thing is that I still expect most of the dogs to be saved. The outcry to try and...

And here we go...I'm sorry, I'm really invested in seeing Vick's dogs saved. I don't know the show Pardon The Interruption though.
  12. Social and Cultural effects of Operation Downfall on Japan

This thread has only strengthened my opinion that dropping the bombs was the least bad option.
  13. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

Luna, no! Oh god I want to read that scene now, though it would hurt so much. What butterflies made JK decide to do that? Also, still stunned about what happened to Lindsey and RDJ.
  14. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

I think I would have loved Fairytale. How did people react to the reveal of Ysidra's backstory?
  15. Rumsfeldia: Fear and Loathing in the Decade of Tears

Exactly! And now they dare crawl back and beg for help, beg for salvation from the hell they created? And let the evils they did go unpunished? I don't think so. To use another cliche, the butchers bill is coming due, and boy is it not cheap. Will it go past Rummyhorror eventually?
  16. Rumsfeldia: Fear and Loathing in the Decade of Tears

It lives! Thank you for this. And so they beg for help from the people they alienated. Of course they wouldn't return. You reap what you sow. EDIT: Looking at the timeline, we get to Rummyhorror in less than a year. Will we go past that and see the aftermath?
  17. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

Ah, gotcha. What really terrible games have been released though?
  18. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

That's a lot of games, thanks! And I see that Superman 64 was still made. What other really, really terrible games have been released? They haven't been mentioned much in the timeline but they are fun to read about. Or at least fun to read the reviews.
  19. Massively Multiplayer: Gaming In The New Millennium

Thank you, and your mom, for saving her. and yes, fuck Michael Vick.
