  1. Q-Bam Historical Map Thread

I'm not sure if this is the appropriate thread, but as I couldn't find a pre-existing one, I made a patch for the southwestern border of Wilsonian Armenia by tracing this map.
  2. Affiliated States of Boreoamerica thread

It's great to see how far this project has come since its beginning. Are the various independent countries around the ASB official now, or are they (other than the previously elaborated upon Mexico and Rupertsland) just placeholders?
  3. Map Thread XV

This is correct. Everything between 41 and 42'02 or fight!
  4. Map Thread XV

Sea to sea isn't enough You go sea to sea to sea to sea
  5. Map of the Fortnight: Main Discussion Thread

Oh... I should have time to make something, in that case!
  6. Map of the Fortnight: Main Discussion Thread

I really like this idea. A lot. Imagining the history of one region applied to another can be quite interesting.
  7. Alternate Electoral Maps

Oh my. Wow. I can't wait. This is a very interesting project. What are the party ideologies like? Are you planning on adding more not very minor parties?
  8. Collaborative Project: Lets Build A Planet (All Welcome)

Hi, welcome to ah.com! I'm glad you take interest in my ideas. As for the nation that invaded Deurond, it was just some relatively unimportant petty kingdom that thought that conquering the now greatly weakened Deurond would make them seem more prestigious. Honestly I just threw that part in to...
  9. MotF 144: Res Publica

The direct origins of the Union of Islamic Republics come from the Syrian and Iraqi Civil Wars of the 2010s, in which Iran supported the governments of those countries in defeating Da’esh and, in Syria, various other groups rebelling against their government. After Iraq and Syria had been fully...
  10. Map of the Fortnight: Main Discussion Thread

I'm making a thing. It's a pretty basic map that has no chance against Zek Sora's masterpiece, but I suppose I'll post it anyway. Also, since there are no other challenge suggestions, I'm reposting this
  11. Collaborative Project: Lets Build A Planet (All Welcome)

Oh. Sorry, I didn't see that before. I've had some ideas about how the Deuras language I mentioned herefloating in my head, but I've been rather busy lately and so haven't written anything down. I think I could make Deuras a descendant of Proto-Rumaic, there's noticeable similarities between...
  12. Collaborative Project: Lets Build A Planet (All Welcome)

@Chrzęścimir, are you going to create information about the pink language in the northeast ('Proto-Rumaic')? Because I already have plans for the languages in that region, some of which I have previously mentioned.
  13. Return of Horrible Educational Maps

The more you look, the worse it gets. The region around India in particular though. Just. What? It almost looks like some weird ATL.
  14. Alternate Electoral Maps

I really love this series, a multi-party America is so much more interesting than what we have in OTL. What is the national political system like? Are you expecting to do all 50 states eventually?
  15. French (or other Europeans) conquered South America instead and impact on racial identity

The perception of Iberia as not fully European has multiple reasons. The phrase 'Europe ends at the Pyrenees' has existed for a while and has little to do with Anglo-American perceptions of Latin Americans. Iberia was primarily Muslim rather than Christian for several centuries during the...
  16. (Official?) Urban Maps Thread

Ottawa. Something about the general shape of the river looked like the St. Lawrence to me, so I checked some cities in the area. I was wrong about the river, but at least it was close.
  17. Return of Horrible Educational Maps

Webster-Ashburton negotiations go very badly for the Americans?
  18. If America called itself "Columbia", what would OTL Colombia call itself?

Cundinmarca maybe? It was briefly used for the region 1820 - 1824, comes from a native name for the Colombian highland region. I think New Grenada is the most likely option though.
  19. (Official?) Urban Maps Thread

Seven total- still a lot less then New York's!:p Thanks! Note that in both OTL and TTL, the bay has been modified through landfill, but in somewhat different directions. OTL map to compare.
  20. (Official?) Urban Maps Thread

I'll start with a map of an alternate San Diego (my home city) I made for the Affiliated States of Boreoamerica thread. The whole story behind it is Affiliated States of Boreoamerica thread']here but basically the English, Russians, and Dutch all found trade enclaves within Mexico, and later...
