Indeed. I can't nominate anymore but I still have a second to use. I had to discount a lot of good flags from the Flag Thread due to being adaptations. I then went through the Challenge Thread. Took me 40 & 20mins of scanning and noting the favourites. Aside from the flag collections and...

WI: James the First united Britain?

You'll notice that it was never call the Emperor's Crown though. There's a difference between rex in regno suo est imperator (king being emperor in his kingdom) and imperator (Emperor).

Lancastrian Princess, Yorkist Queen: Elizabeth Plantagenet of Bedford

But at the point of the betrothal/marriage he is very much underage. If Henry dies then Richard will be Regent & LP. Richard is secure right up until the birth of Westminster as OTL so I fail to see the betrothal accelerating whatever timeframe Richard has to take power.

He doesn't seem the type to risk the power for the power with a title.

I doubt he was so ambitious he'd want to usurp his own son.

My initial thoughts are that the CAS and CFS would just use the OTL Confederate and Californian flags. I've no idea for the PCC tho the one they use is suitably hideous! The UCAS one just needs the stars and leaves removed.

The Arabian Sultanate or Hashemi Arabia The Sultanate has its origins in the failed Arab Revolt during WW1 that led to the Sharif of Mecca Hussein bin Ali becoming King of Hejaz following removal of the Ottomans. His sons involved themselves with the Rashidi-Saudi feud in the Nejd and with...

Do you have a source that isn't Clive Bloom's book? That's only I can find that claims that tricolour dates that early. Edit: Looking on FOTW the discussion can't confirm it is from that time either.

I like the idea a lot but feel obligated to point out the flag is unlikely to be a red white green tricolour at the time of the republic forming. Blue white green were the colours of Georgian republicans. They would actually go well with your spiffing arms.
