The Map Thread is broken and won't work on maps?
  2. Map thread

A suggestion: Get to know what's on the forums a little bit before you post something.
  3. Map Thread II

Nice one. Really... that's all I can say. You're getting pretty good...
  4. Hitler triumphant -nonfiction

That was a pretty interesting scenario - I think it was called 'The Little Admiral'. The one with Germany getting nukes was intriguing also.
  5. Ghosts of Columbia by L.E. Modesitt

They're pretty decent. I read 'em when they came out a couple years back, but I bought this edition for the simple fact that it had a map. :D

  8. Carthaginians in WW1

    1. You've acknowledged that this is silly. Why are you posting it? 2. Please, for the love of God, run your posts through a spell-checker of some sort.
  9. Byzantines in WW1

Well, with an introductory sentence like that, of course I have to say: Yes, I'm tired of cryptic, semi-coherent crapola. This is the kind of stuff that makes me begin to lose all interest in alternate history. What, are they a sports team now? Took the words right out of my mouth.
  10. Charlemagne's Death and the Saxon Empire

It's probably been done before, but who cares? It sounds pretty damn interesting.
  11. I've Got Stirling's Latest!

Well, hardcovers are usually too large to shoplift.
  12. I've Got Stirling's Latest!

Mine's on the way from the book club. It's worth the extra wait to get it for only $12 or thereabouts...
  13. Map Thread II

Yeah, I think they look better as well. How about putting some more planets and other assorted descriptives in there?
  14. 1632: what is the proper order of the books?

My goodness! I agree with you yet again! What is this, like twice this year? It's getting to be a habit! :D
  15. Paladins - Joel Rosenberg

From what I can gather, in this TL, Arthur was a baby-eating Villain, and Mordred was the Good Guy who overthrew him. Like I said, I haven't read it yet, but hell, at least it's something different from run-of-the-mill AH.
  16. Help Midgard choose his next timeline!

Because you can vote for more than one option.
  17. Help Midgard choose his next timeline!

Radically different and creepy. Do it!!!
  18. MAP CONTEST: General Discussion.

The original intention was to wait until the 'finals' - Contest 6 - to do that. But seeing as how SK spilled the beans... :D What do you think, SK?
  19. Paladins - Joel Rosenberg

A new fantasy/AH from the guy that wrote the 'Guardians of the Flame' series. Paladins is set in a world where Mordred defeated Arthur and founded a Kingdom that is still standing in the 17th century and controls a vast empire. I just bought it, haven't started it yet, but it looks verrry...
  20. Map Thread II

@ahscardinal: That is fantastic. Good innovation using the terra incognita shading etc.
