  3. An Hegemon of Indochina/SE Asia?

Frankly, I think we need to butterfly away the Qin for this to really work out. The annexation of the modern-day Guangdong area was a heavy blow against the proto-Vietnamese people, and as such IF for some reason the region never was part of China, we might have a pretty interesting scenario.

I made the map. Here's a modern administrative division version of the map you posted. Finally, edit out that map, it's stretching my screen.

Something by Halibutt, one of the best drawers of Polish Maps at Wikipedia. Here's the link to a whole bunch of his maps. Two maps showing West Belarus, the Polish territories which the USSR claimed for the Belarusian Soviet Socialist Republic.

Part of it was probably because there was already a Beijing "government" with Yuan Shikai being in control through the Beiyang Army. Basically, the existence of Yuan was most likely a factor in . Either way, Beijing was...
  12. Red Chinese capital at Nanking?

Being more centrally located in terms of industrialization (Manchuria), having been the original and non-Chiang capital of the ROC, geopolitically safer (Shandong and Liaoning being a good barrier), closer to the USSR, less damaged than Nanjing, and originally the most ideologically red of the...

  15. Map Thread IX

  16. Flag Thread III

    A French-influenced flag I saw somewhere.
  17. Es Geloybte Aretz - a Germanwank

    Convenient death of Cavaignac. Conspiracy?
  18. WI Nazism just xenophobic, not actively racist?

Hitler gained the popular support he did (without taking into consideration the Great Depression) by actually toning down his antisemitism in public. I really don't see anything different happening until around 1935, when the Nuremberg Laws were publicly enacted.
  19. Neo-Fascist Cuba in the 1960's?

Are you saying that Fulgencio Batista y Zaldívar was not a neo-fascist, whatever that's supposed to mean?
