I love the idea of a major war historical event with questionable veracity.

What I would prefer is if the game was more about dodging, so as the game went on you stopped caring about your little leader dot and started caring more about moving the trailing cloud around. As the cloud grew, it's control patters change and there starts to be lag so you have to think ahead.

Oh, cool. Yeah, it is an interesting model. The problem it has is that by removing control in the lategame it kinda gets boring.
