Threads from "An Old English Tapestry"

That was a nice surprise! I've spent all day reading interconnected safety management reports and assessments, so thank you for giving me something much better to read. You've captured the feel of a modern history text extremely well with this post, with the mixture of certainties and...

I think you might be able to report it without an account. Have a look under the heading 'I do not have a Reddit account. How do I report a content policy violation?' on this page: https://www.reddithelp.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043514031-Reporting-FAQ

Here you go. I'm not sure if it's better to have the three leopards the same size, as in the standard arms, or curved to fit the circle/arc, so I've done both - just pick the one you prefer... (click the thumbnails for the full-size images)

How's this? (click the thumbnail for the full-size image) The 4th quarter isn't great, but without re-doing the lion's body completely it's the best I could do for now - the alternative was for the lions to be much smaller, which I didn't think you'd want.

Not sure if I'm really allowed to vote, not being a resident, but there was nothing stopping me, so I've done so. Having looked at all of them, it came down to either yours (C) or another one (E) and you'll glad to know I think yours is, just, better, so that's the one I put as my first choice...

It's a bit of work cross-referencing back/forth via the links, but you can get the info here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Caribbean_islands

How about one of these? As noted in my post above, I've used just the harp for the shield. I put 'Quis separabit' as the motto above and 'Pro deo et patria' (for God and country) in the banner in the compartment. I'm not sure if the CoA's better with the two different supporters or just with...

    A Blank Map Thread

A large-scale map format used a lot on here. Its main thread is here: https://www.alternatehistory.com/forum/threads/the-q-bam-improvement-and-core-thread.220951/page-169 I can't remember what the Q is for, but BAM means Big-A***d-Map, iirc. QBAM is approximately 5000x2400 pixels for the whole...

I don't see why the main shield would be anything other than just the harp, to be honest. The 'four provinces' combination is generally used to represent 'all-Ireland' (such as the rugby teams) so includes Northern Ireland. Give me a few days.

Have a look at some of the earls who ruled various parts of England around then - Mercia, etc. With a few tweaks here and there, almost any of them could end up as king.

Civilitatem Resurrectio ~ A Pangea Proxima Worldbuilding Project

For future animals, you may want to find a copy of After Man by Dougal Dixon (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/After_Man) - it is 'set' 50 million years in the future, so could give some ideas which could be further 'evolved' over the following 200-M-yrs to reach the time of this project.

Weekly Flag Challenge: Discussion & Entries

I've an idea, but have been too busy with work to do more than think about it yet. Hoping to get it done over the weekend (though I'm still on shift, so still time-limited).
