Fantastic work as always Serafim. Really love the originality of these stories and the level of care you put into these maps to convey them.

To be fair, it's not like anyone really knows _what_ a deglaciated Antarctica would look like, let alone some of the examples here which've never had an ice sheet full stop. Poaching from Great White South; I'd wager this is a fairly reasonable go at balancing the land rise.

FWIW, I'd say 4/ths of the work for it is done, but some cross referencing with google maps suggests that a fair bit of detail could be added to the Russian coastline to bring it up to par with the standard in Europe. Still, better than most actual 'official' maps you see at even similar scales...

Does anyone have maps for 1730~? So far the closest I've found are worldas of 1700 and 1750.

Decided to give a go at making a map based off of this. Much more solid than a lot of language maps out there, but I'm wary about those groups in Russia.

Right, right. I'll see if I can get a ball rolling here. How should we go about patching the worlda, then? I figure individually people will probably be able to point out some areas worth looking at and suggest some smaller patches - as it is I reckon a lot of patches are floating about, but...

I think they were referring to the steppeland? It is pretty dry down there, iirc. Really neat & well executed concept though! I wonder what islands-come-highlands like Sardinia or Crete would be like?

Parts of this bug me, like the very squiggly borders in the sahara and the (inevitable) disparities in population (ie, empty western sahara VS dense vietnam). That said, this is amazing work! You've managed to make some really neat parallels here and the attention to detail really comes...
