Very nice work, I'll be looking forward to any future work you do on this! My only objections would be that South Carolina seems to have been flipped rather than rotated and that I'm not sure that Long Island ever made real moves towards secession.

I'm not sure, honestly. A quick look at OTL state borders suggests that those lines don't really match up with the local longitutes, and (i'm not really well versed in the area, so take with some salt) the east/west division between *Melbourne and *Sydney seems kind of unintuitive.

@eustress What I did to speed things up was draw the coastlines on the map like you have, but I then used the magic wand tool in paint.net to grab the coastline (you could also use layers from similar programs if that works easier for you) and then pasted it elsewhere where I could fill in the...

Ah, I didn't mean that as a response to anything you'd said in particular, I was just speaking in general.

Mind you, no reason why multiple people can't comb over areas as per their own specialties! Like, you could have someone cross referencing the map to make sure all the tiny spec sized islands are added, polishing some of the rough edges, making sure different areas have the same level of detail...

Sick work! Only flaw I can see is that the water between Phuket and the mainland isn't shown, bit of black added there would fix that easily.
