    Alternate Electoral Maps II

I would complain, but this is actually brilliant and I'm a bit surprised no one's thought of it until now.

Alternate Wikipedia Infoboxes V (Do Not Post Current Politics Here)

The fundamental issue here is that it's Russia and Sweden against Denmark rather than Russia and Denmark against Sweden.

Alternate Wikipedia Infoboxes V (Do Not Post Current Politics Here)

    - Götaland is labelled as Svealand - The Schleswig-Holstein border is anachronistic - in the 19th century they'd probably use this one, and similar caveats apply to the border with Hamburg and Lübeck to the south - Since they're not administrative regions anyway, you might put Møre og Romsdal in...

    A House Divided: A TL
    Threadmarks: ANNOUNCEMENT: 2018 Turtledove Awards

Hi everyone. Work continues to be slow, evidently telling myself "I'll finish this up and then move on" hasn't been enough to keep me from moving on prematurely. That's not to say this is being put on ice, but nor are updates likely to be quicker than the last few have been. However, I do have...

It's not an actual TL, it's a mod for the various Hearts of Iron games. It's massively unrealistic because there's concerns other than realism at play - things like balance and gameplay variability, which it does (or the Darkest Hour version did - I don't have HoI4) magnificently. I generally...

    Makemakean draws stuff

I actually realised just after asking you that we, er, don't quite know what he looked like. Still, I think the idea of a Roman Jefferson is sort of fun, and as you say there's a degree of similarity between the two.

This is mild compared to the HRE. Most of the fiefs are contiguous, for one thing.

The Tehachapis would be the main obstacle here. I guess it's easy enough to get rid of them in an ASB setting though.

I don't actually speak fluent Spanish either, but I have a vague idea of what goes where. And no, that was very much the intention. I'm using the name for a state in my TL soon enough as well.

Wonderful map - Mexico-wanks are painfully underdone on here, and anything with optical telegraphs gets my seal of approval. Just a couple of nitpicks re the Spanish - that would be "Santa Genoveva" and "Nueva Orleans". I also wonder if they wouldn't start calling San Antonio de Béxar "Béxar"...
