WI: Lloyd Doggett beats Phil Gramm for U.S. Senate seat in Texas '84, how much would change?

I believe Gramm's initial selection for the House was close (he just about won the Democratic primary runoff and barely squeaked into it in the first round). Perhaps if he loses that could stunt his career and lead to a weaker nominee like Ron Paul, who came a distant second to Gramm IOTL.

AH Vignette: 'Death to the Hired Brothers'

Pain can be rigorously hard to define when you are unable to trace it well. Uday wished he had the pleasure of being unsure - of perhaps chalking his pain up to something that wasn't as mundane as eight bullets fired from the gun of a Shi'ite. The fact he now had all the time to reflect on it...

It's from this. New Zealand's Social Credit Party help found a Eurosceptic party (based off something they tried to do OTL) composed of the hard left and right with dual leaders to reflect this. Alan Sked becomes PM down the line.

    "Hipster" PMs and Presidents Thread

In reading Heath's memoirs I've come across the figure of Richard Fort. Killed at the age of 51 in an easily butterfly-able auto accident, he was a member of the One Nation group along with Macleod and as a former chemist, held a considerable interest in science matters. Had he not been killed...

AHC: Tories fall into third place

Is there anyway to worsen the Tories' situation around 2001 (leaving the Lib Dems on roughly their 2005 performance), yet still have Duncan Smith/Widdecombe elected leader?

Environmentalism and Climate Change in an Axis Victory Scenario

I don't think draining the Mediterranean would've done wonders for the environment.
