    Political M-BAM project

Who on earth creates a colour scheme that differentiates 'Welfare Capitalism' from 'Obama Capitalism' but then excludes 'Agrarianism' considering the latter was basically the dominant strand of politics in half of rural Europe for a while.

If we're talking 1815 then it was definitely the counties which were the First level Division- Wales was considered an integral part of England at that point. Though you also had the County Corporates and the City of London and the Scottish Burghs. This is technically before the existence of...

Proposals and War Aims That Didn't Happen Map Thread

    Map Thread XVIII

Must admit I'm puzzled by the internal borders. It looks like, approximately, the late 19th Century county boundaries (so tidying up lots of exclaves), except where they aren't (mostly around London/Thames Valley) where the reorganisation doesn't appear to follow the geographical trends of new...

It's worth remembering that 2015 was the peak of the Boko Haram insurgency- they controlled a significant portion of Borno state and were mounting attacks on basically the entire rest of the area.

Look to the West Volume V: To Dream Again

Covering this one myself, the vassalisation indication got dropped from the map in the Published version, which also corrected the rather... vague border in the original thread.

Oh god. A nation where Shoenberg's views on the supremacy of the 12-tone system are endorsed by the state. Truly a dystopia.

Look to the West Volume V: To Dream Again

You know the most unsettling part of all that is the incredibly casual 'oh its good the Mapuche have already experienced complete cultural genocide, they're already ahead of the curve' comment.

Well the Combine is already off to a difficult start. And I'm guessing some of those hints are to the very state-like later nature.
