    I think you've got the Rauracian Republic (former Prince-Bishopric of Basel, existed 1792-1793) confused with the Rhodanic Republic (the Valais, 1802-1810).

    The seat moved to Damascus in the 1340s and never went back. I suppose it would be a bit silly to have a Metropolitan in Antioch if the Patriarch is in a different city.
