If I had a nickel for every time a US veteran and burn victim moved to Nevada after failing to win public office in a former Confederate state, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice. ( Sam_Brown_(military), Charles_Woods_(politician) )

Given his polling within the GOP, Trump could become the first non-incumbent (neither POTUS nor VP) to win every single contest in a Presidential primary season. Only Smith’28, Roosevelt’32, Goldwater’64, Nixon’68, Reagan’80, Dole’96, Bush’00, and Kerry’04 have gotten close to that feat, with Kerry being the closest by winning all but 4 of the contests, and Gore’00 was the incumbent VP, not POTUS.

Nikki Haley is NOT the first woman of color to run for the GOP Presidential nomination. That distinction goes to former DC Mayor Marion Berry’s mother-in-law, Isabell Masters, who ran in the Republican primaries in 1988, 1992, and 1996; in 1996, she made it onto the primary ballot in Oklahoma, where she received over 1,000 votes.

I recently watched Governor Jay Hammond's "Alaska" series on YouTube and was kind of disappointed Bob Ross wasn't interviewed or even mentioned while several other Alaskan painters are. The series is from the 1990s and has a calm, laid back atmosphere and wholesome charm to it, so it reminds me of Ross' series.
