This is based in my timeline I refer to as NFL-PCFL. In this world, the meeting between Lamar Hunt and George Halas has a better outcome and as a result, the Dallas Texans, Houston Oilers and Minnesota Vikings join the NFL. With the AFL now dead in the water, the three western teams of the rebel league met with the 49ers and Rams ownership and decided to form their own league. Eventually, shortly before the preseason the Chicago Cardinals, now in Saint Louis, joined the league. That league is called the PCFL.
