Celebes and Mollucas
Celebes and Mollucas
On 1673, a Spanish-Portuguese army would fight the Dutch on Celebes and retake control of Maluku and Sulawesi for them to take control of what was stolen from them by the dutch, which will be a success and the Spanish would have a base to reconquer the parts of Mindanao that were taken by the muslims under Sultan Kudarat via the Maluku islands in the south as it was given to the Spanish in the treaty between Portugal and Spain.
The people from Sangihe group of Islands would support the Spanish and Portuguese against the Dutch due to the Dutch supporting the Muslims against Christians, the Portuguese would obliterate the Sultanate of Gowa and support the Pagans and Christians on Celebes while the Spanish would gain its price of the Mollucas or Maluku, however this would mean that further skirmishes against the Dutch would happen.
