Is that...A Kamandi wikibox? :0

I love it! :D

Yes!

Not sure if it could be considered a full Kamandi infobox though, seeing as the races don't have "-men" added to them, but it does take place in a very, very similar world at least. One that also takes some influence from Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers.

From the same series of wikiboxes I did years ago where King Charles I youngest son Henry did not die and he was made the heir of Charles II instead of his Catholic brother. No King James II or Glorious Revolution and the Stuarts would continue to be the ruling family of the British Isles.

Very nice :)

Can I ask how you created those custom signatures?

2019 Crimean Presidential

Hmm. 🤔

So if Meshkov had won the election despite being dead, would the Republican government have appointed an acting President in his stead? Speaking of which, is Crimea a presidential or a semi-presidential republic here? I feel like that's important as to whether Chubarov manages to steer Crimea towards democracy or gets removed by Meshkov's supporters.

Didn't catch the CnD, but it's been yonks since I watched that.

Will there be more such boxes?

Tomáš Singer (Czech pronunciation: [ˈtomaːʃ sɪnɡɛr]; born 8 April 1969) is a Czechoslovak politician serving as the State President of Bohemia since 2010 and as the leader of the Czechoslovak Social Democratic Workers' Party (ČSDSD) in Bohemia since 2008. Singer is generally associated with social liberal, Third Way views and is considered a member of the right-wing of the Social Democratic Party.

Singer affiliated to the Social Democratic Party in 1987, following in the example of his father, a party member and Kladno's local OSČ-DGB union boss. He would quickly become active in local politics in Prague, as a member of the Social Democratic Youth. Singer has been a member of the Bohemian Assembly since the election of 1996 for the constituency of Prague Periphery (Praha-venkov).

An economist by training, Singer served as the party's spokesperson in the Assembly's Welfare committee from 1997 until his nomination as State Councillor for Welfare and Public Health in 1999. Singer would serve in that post until 2002, under State Presidents Lubomir Šedivý (1999-2001) and Alena Němcová (2001-02). Following the 2002 election, Singer was appointed State Councillor in the second Němcová government (2002-06).

After Alena Němcová's resignation as party leader in 2008, Singer was elected by the 26th Congress, becoming the unofficial leader of the opposition. Following the 2010 elections, Singer replaced Josef Kořán as Land President after forming a six-party coalition government together with the National Socialists, the German Social Democrats, the Czechoslovak and German people's parties and the Greens. Singer was re-elected in 2014 and 2018, renewing the centre-left coalition government.

Singer is considered a popular politician, often receiving high approval ratings from voters from opposition parties, like the Republican Party (61%). According to a 2017 poll conducted by Lidové noviny, Singer is the second-most popular Social Democratic politician in Czechoslovakia and four-most popular overall.

The Chairman of the State Council would normally take the position of president if there was a vacancy, but the State Council was not in session during those 7 days, so he could not be officially sworn in as president. If Meshkov had won, the Chairman would be president for the full term.

Crimea is a full presidential republic, and Meshkov had a lot of power during his rule. But since Chubarov's election and with the Republicans dominating the State Council, the Council has asserted themselves and regained much of the power that Meshkov had informally taken for himself. Chubarov has had issues working well with the Council, and even though the Republicans do not currently have the support to remove Chubarov, Chubarov is definitely in a precarious position.

The Danjaeist Party for Popular Liberation is a left-wing, Korean nationalist, traditionally anarchist political party in the Japanese Empire.

Active in the Korean Peninsula since its foundation by 1941, the Danjaeist Party for Popular Liberation was legalized in the late 1950s - controversially so, due to its strong anarcho-nationalist slant and common perception as a terrorist organization - and has operated as a relatively fringe party for much of the 20th century. The Danjaeists became particularly prominent in the 2010s, winning a hefty majority of Korean seats in the 2015 House of Representatives election and becoming the largest Korean party in the Empire in terms of parliamentary and prefectural assembly seats, defeating the Liberals in this regard; as such, they have become the driving force of the upcoming Korean independence referendum in 2020.

Although the Danjaeists have slightly moderated on anarchism by the 2010s, the vast majority of the rank-and-file members and the party leadership steadfastly support community self-rule, and have expanded on this aspect in their party program and plans for Korean independence.

I don't really have a complex alt-historical write-up for this, just something that began with a musing as to how absurdly huge the Northwest Territory was, and some figuring on what a gigantic population it would have if it were all admitted as one state, in the manner of, say, Texas. The loose sketch of the idea (and the credit for the map) go to @Gryphon with that being that the old Northwest isn't ceded to the United States at Paris in 1783, but remains under the British for another generation before the endless stream of American settlers pouring into the Ohio tear it away in a 'second' American War of Independence, which is then for some years an independent republic before joining the United States. From there it kind of grew into a fun spit-balling adventure which took us down to Mexico and away from the Pacific northwest.

Anyone with an understanding of antebellum US politics is invited not to count the number of states above and below the 36°30′ parallel, as it will make you cry.

You will, I hope, forgive me for omitting the state seal, as I do not have the graphical expertise necessary to fabricate one. For the flag, I have turned to my old favorite, the 'alleged Mormon flag of 1877' because that's just an excellent file name, but it also has the kind parallelism to the Stars and Stripes that the pro-US rebels might wish to advance.

I love it George.

"Jericho Wolverine" sounds like they could have been a professional wrestler in some alternate wrestling association before transitioning to politics.
