Following a civil war in Hashemite Arabia, heavy fighting between royal troops and military coup supporters damaged oilfields in southern Iraq, Kuwait and eastern Arabian Peninsula, createing environmental and economic disaster in the world. On the other hand, burning of the oilfields encouraged more countries to invest into renewable energy sources and electrical cars.
Four years of struggle (2001-2005) has left large parts of Hashemite Arabia destroyed by the heavy fighting.
Despite protests of international community, both sides used chemical weapons to break the frontlines during late part of a war (2004-2005)
