The Palace of Versailles before it burned down. The Palace was converted into a makeshift refugee camp where countless refugees thought its structure would shield them from Zack. Unfortunately, due to the lack of knowledge of how to secure and fortify the structure, the palace was overrun with internal infected and the Paris horde. One refugee accidentally threw a molotov cocktail in a last stand effort to fight the horde, but it only resulted in burning a significant portion of the palace. The loss of Versailles heavily demoralized the French Armed Forces and the French people. Today, the remains of Versailles serve as reminder of the dark years of World War Z.

Alleged photograph of CIA Special Activities Division and JSOC operatives in Lanao del Sur, Philippines operating a civilian drone for surveying a nearby village full of Zack. This photograph was believed to be part of the DoD's Alpha Teams operation prior to the Battle of Yonkers. Both the Philippines and the United States government have not commented on the authenticity of this photograph.

A declassified photograph of the the Presidential Emergency Operations Center during September 11, 2001. The PEOC bunker was believed to be in use during WWZ and any photographs of it during the war has yet to be declassified.

A wartime photo taken from air showed the condition of a crowded refugee camp in the depth of the jungles, Borneo. The war displaced millions in pursuit of safety after the plague spread around the world, and in many instances people were forced to live in overcrowded shelters under inhumane condition. The smiles on the refugees' faces showed their temporary gratitude that they finally found a safe haven, eventhough at the end, many of these zones didn't survive the war.
