Yeah, I have a picture ready already for when he posts there.
I've got a flag for a commie East Prussia (it's a scenario where Russia doesn't force the Germans out of Kaliningrad and instead has East Prussia become a Soviet puppet.
The red stands for the socialist revolution, while black and white have been associated with the area historically. It also uses a modified East German coat of arms and the writing is German for "solidarity, equality, bread"

Wouldn't East Prussia just be made a part of East Germany? I mean, the borders wouldn't work, but drawing borders not to work was extremely Stalin's thing.
As far as I'm aware Stalin didn't want Germany to ever reunite again and become a threat to Russia so I can see an independent Prussia becoming a reality.
Here's something I threw together somewhat quickly while playing Vicky 2 for the first time in years. I don't know if I want it to be more complex by adding a bit of symbolism or it I want to keep it as simple as this. Also, any guesses?
Is this a nation in South Africa? It also looks really nice, those colors go surprisingly well together.
Well, you got the "south" part right.
Its a flag for what I imagine a reformed Gran Colombian Confederation would be.
Consisting of Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, and Bolivia, it draws on inspiration from all five republics. The red is universal amongst all five, so I used it in the vertical third. All save for Peru use yellow, which takes the top top horizontal third. The original three republics use differing shades of blue, so to make it stand out a bit, I used Venezuela's for the central third. And as Bolivia is the only nation that uses green, it occupies the bottom third; which is also fitting as it serves as the bulwark against the southern nations of Chile and Argentina.
I'm curious if I should make additions however. Maybe the simple addition of five stars for each constituent republic?
A Flag of the Kingdom of Bosnia from a TL where the kingdom dissolved into principalities under Ottoman control before the northernmost being restored as first the Principality of Bosnia then Kingdom as it gains more land. A Bosnian equivalent of Bulgaria if you will.
I think it's really good the way it is but if you want to add some stars go for it.

I knew it was the symbol for Mars, and still my mind went straight to; "some kind of gender/sexuality flag". We're going to need some other symbol for Mars.
