  1. Sir John Valentine Carden Survives. Part 2.

    That's alot of PUKE forces
  2. Callaghans follies (1970s new build fleet carriers)

I cannot see this happening if it includes building 2 huge drydocks. As this means the ships cannot be locked in by order till the dry docks are built which will take up to the 80s.
  3. The PANAVIA Tornado is still born?

As for the reason what about this little detail from wiki? From 1967 until 1984 Soviet KGB agents were provided details on the Tornado by the head of the West German Messerschmitt-Bölkow-Blohm Planning department, Manfred Rotsch.[29][30]
  4. The PANAVIA Tornado is still born?

For the Saudis tornado was in competation with the Dassault Mirage 4000. So the french would be the winners as US Congress was causing problem with additional purchases, which is why they turn to the British.
  5. Design a carrier for the RN of 1934

How much did one of the 1942 light carriers cost? I know there was a bottle neck with guns and armour for curisers, was it the same with machinery set? That is does a light carrier mean one less light curiser?
  6. Wealthy UK post WW 2, How & Consequences

Also post WW2 most factories in Germany and Japan had to be rebuilt. While UK we still had alot which had Victorian machine tool.

From this the size if the force is too small and at risk if the btn is already split by town and the labour needs. Hopefully they have time to sort themselves out when that platoon runs into the company. Also that there are more forces about to landed there, hopefully at least a brigade.
  8. Redline Map

So the USA gets over 100,000 odd ex French citizens to look after. I can see France asking for this land back from it's allies. Else I can see trouble as the Quebec Act was considered one of the 'Intolerable acts' by the rebels and so can see it being rolled back.
  9. Sir John Valentine Carden Survives. Part 2.

If I am remembering right, in OTL there was a 6 month delay in warship building in 1942 as of the panic that 25% of britsh dry cargo ships needed to be repaired as Battle of Atlantic. Does quicker victory in north africa affect this? Only thing I can think of is that with Benghazi and Crete...
  10. Sir John Valentine Carden Survives. Part 2.

Are we going to see the Valiant I being sent to china as they are replaced by Victors? I am guessing that Russia wants Mark II and not the older mark I. Thinking about how bad the roads in china are, how many MarkIV light tanks are still around? As they would they be perfect for the area and...

  12. Sir John Valentine Carden Survives. Part 2.

The attack being in a habour will hopefully mean more sailors survied to be used else where. How soon before the Dutch get LL ships from the US ;)
  13. Sir John Valentine Carden Survives. Part 2.

I wonder how this affects the railways in NA and SEA with them being in allied control with a need to support build ups for some time before the next strategic jump. Italy for NA and maybe Philippines for SEA
  14. Sir John Valentine Carden Survives. Part 2.

So 10-11 divisions in Malaya with 6 divisions in Burma vs what's left of a broken army and 2 JIA divisions which as of shipping will be feed in piecemeal of one regiment at time.
  15. Sir John Valentine Carden Survives. Part 2.

What's the odds they can only ship 1 regiment at a time?
