AHC: Earlier Successful Women's Rights Movements

There were certainly many examples of women being treated with respect and achieving great power. What I'm more wondering is how a civilization could make this universal, with women really being treated at least as well as they are in the modern day "Western" world.

AHC: Earlier Successful Women's Rights Movements

How about an Islam-style third major Abrahamic faith that, for whatever reason, preaches gender equality?

AHC: Earlier Successful Women's Rights Movements

These are all great, only just saw these responses. I like this one a lot, to be honest. I can imagine a whole story centered-on of Theodosia's life ITTL.

WI Draka were dark mirror to other countries?

I've noticed that, in a sense, the Terran Empire from Star Trek are essentially a Draka to the Federation of the same franchise. The Terrans aren't eugenicists or anything in the way the Draka are, but they are a brutal, hedonistic, and expansionistic race-based slavocracy that exists as a dark...

This Guilty Land: A Post-Civil War Timeline

Longstreet is going to have a rough time "fixing" the country, that's for sure.

Chapter 8: A Soldier All His Life February 13, 1872, New Orleans, Louisiana, Confederate States of America James Longstreet scanned the crowd. From horseback, Longstreet had a relatively good view of the streets of New Orleans. As the parade procession passed down the streets of the city...

WI Draka were dark mirror to other countries?

I'm probably going to make a map for the Holy Latin Empire scenario. Stay tuned for that.

Speculative Futures to Alternate History Timelines

I essentially just wanted to make this thread for speculation of what the future holds for various timelines. Examples of what I mean are things like b_munro's take on a modern Decades of Darkness, the modern Kaiserreich scenarios you see sometimes, and the various Watchmen sequels we've gotten...
