Whether your nation is possible is entirely up to how it came to be. So, what's the Danube Federation's history? Is it plausible? Sure, it can be. Just look at Switzerland, Poland-Lithuania and Austria-Hungary for European examples.

Definitely 100% agreed. I can see now that it is still too bright. To be honest, I doubt I will use purple or indigo ever again in my maps. They are weird "bright" dark colours. Makes it feel unnatural. It becomes way too difficult to make it work. I would rather use a different colour...
