Say the Bank of Japan and other banks do not begin there large lending spree. How does this affect Japan? I read that in the 1980s Japan was almost considered 'superpower' potential. Without the 'Lost Decade' does this remain a plausible outcome?
I real quick completely ASB map I did. Mostly just a test map.
I forgot the Falklands, but they'd be British blue. The basic premise is this is the world just before the outbreak of WW3. Three factions exist, the Blue "Allies", consisting of capitalistic countries (if I ever come back to...
I think the blue is a bit too vibrant. Also, the realistic looking pelican draws from the design of the flag. Maybe a clip art version or a solid colour version?
A: There is a thread for requests
B: At least give us some info on what you're looking for and what the micronation is.
Without any info we aren't going to be able to make the flag you want.
I did two versions of this one. The Jamaican one is proving finicky so I might work on it later. Also, the sword/flower/globe thing is annoyingly off-center.
This is totally ASB and completely ridiculous, but I wanted to share anyway. Ain't enough alternate conflict infoboxes on here.
Apologies for the weird proportions it was too big to get a good screen cap.
- British one predates OTL's modern Turkey
- Getting warmer
- Close but no cigar. Also, kinda Turkey, it's a grey area.
- It isn't in Asia
- Manchuria and Siberia are the closest by location so far.
- Not communist, but Fascist. In fact Allied with the Fascist Argentina. It was...
- Yes, the flag is a statist/fascist Argentina.
- Nope
- Close
- Not communist, but South American yes.
- As stated before, Fascist Argentina
- British Turkey is very, very close
- Communist yes, but nowhere near Europe.
- Spot on.
A couple of flags I made for a TL involving three world wars, no nuclear weapons and a lot of butterflies. Bonus points if anyone can guess what countries they are:
EDIT: Answers
#1 Fascist Argentina
#2 British Dardanelles
#3 Soviet Alaska
#4 Fascist Peru
So does mean an ununified China is the only plausible one?
How about an earlier civil war/earlier victory to give a bit of time to recover. Is that at all possible?
How plausible is it to have both a South American Theatre (belligerents contained below), a non-unified China and an Axis Spain in World War Two? Both are possible on their own as far as I have read, but can they all occur in the same TL?
A non-unified China would be a scenario where the Xi'an...
Now largest could be defined as several things, but for this challenge the focus is largest in terms of countries and forces militarily involved (supporting roles and diplomatic support less important for this challenge).
Also, is it possible for a three-sided war?
