I don't think its really avoidable. The only real thing that might change is the name. It may become "Easternization" or "Arabication" or some such instead, if the modern advanced nations start showing up somewhere else. Of course, this idea relies on it springing up only in one region first...

pretty much what the title says. In order of course, firstly how could such a thing happen, and what sort of goals would they have over all. Would Anti-Semitism still play a part (Nazi Lite) or would they be more anti-communist/anti-western allies? And, what possible butterflies would this create?

Without any POD during the time of WWI itself, is there any possibility that France could have gone communist? Would it require a POD during or even before WWI? Would it require defeat at the hands of Germany?

What would be required for the Ming Dynasty to survive beyond its fall in 1644? Could it survive beyond the 17, 18, or even 1900's?
