IIRC they started WWII with 14 million troops so the Draka didn’t need any help at all. Just a total lack of internal consistency in book 1.

Maybe he worked for a Lex Luthor type mad scientist and they did the plot from the first Superman movie there. Somehow a local supervillain threatned to sink the island unless a ransom was paid, they didn’t believe him and that cop pushed the button.

Really? I got the strong impression the Tirpitz was the 2nd best battleship in the engagement and would have been sunk in a 1v1 with the Washington.

Finished the first book today, was great all the way through. I will pick up the book sometime this month.

So far the first book is great.

The Kindle versions have good reviews. I may give it a try in the next week or two but I am not one to write long reviews. At best you will get a paragraph out of me but most likely just it was great/good/bad/terrible.

Hmmm, this looks exactly like the other website I already tried that said they took Visa but actually only take Mastercard which I don't have. I guess I will email and see if they are different.

It doesn't matter except in the unlikely event they do a movie series. I would love it but don't see it happening in my lifetime.(I'm 51)
