Exactly, the ERE hated Islam. And if you're violently against the Romans, you could just go muslim to piss them off.

Yeah and more if they clash what they considered their previous etnic group, that put even more stress and would make a full fledge war possible, meaning they would beat them and rather ottoman, we would get a Islamic-Greek nation in the region...a early rumelia/HELLAS?

no more ideas to make it work buddy? i would push the idea of either Siege of Constantinople become sucessful and that is how greek islamized and later they got own their own.

  • I should have said this before, but the map that I wanted to make would be an ATL Treaty of Versailles. I'm sorry for not stating that earlier.

Then I'd use some of the posts war proposals that never happened thread (it should be on the first few pages on the forum) and look or alternate treaties in the same time period that would work well with the TL you're looking to create.

  • Hello

I want to know how to make a map for Timelines. I was wondering if you could tell me what I need to know. I have a DeviantArt account, but I have no idea how to make a map on it.

If you respond to this, I will be thankful.

It mainly comes down to practice, I find. I use paint.net and the next-gen worldas (which can be found on the pinned section of the M&G forum). I also use the geography map (of which the full version is fairly difficult to find, as I haven't found it it any databases which actually proclaim it to exist.)

Then, use a tutorial and a colour scheme (both of which can be found in the useful resources megathread in M&G), and map away.
