I havent tried it yet, but I can't see why it wouldnt be the same max 20 units per side. Which is silly because the AI can control more than one side - you can have multiple allied armies, if you wanted, in the regular game. (you could only control one army though, the rest would be AI)

Steam is the BS that has been causing everyone who actually bought the game a world of problems. Apparantly there was a screw-up where steam thinks you want to download the game you just bought. F***ing unbelievable. Also, if you don't have an internet connection, there seems to be no way to...

Oh, and after about ten turns there was a CTD when I tried to merge two units. I think it will eventually be a good game, once the bugs are out.

I played it a little tonight. I had a godawful time getting the damned thing to boot up - they're having tremendous troubles with their installs. But some basic observations (I played as Poland, of course): One.. it looks like there's fewer provinces per given area - sort of to balance out...

i guess it depends on how quickly the south gets its repeaters. If, say, they have enough to equip the army at First Manassas, then combined with inexperience, it could be a horrible bloodbath for the union. I doubt it would be enough to keep the southern army organized enough to advance on...

The only way I can think of it happening which isnt entirely ASB is if Germany and Japan hold off on going to war with the US until after they've secured Eurasia. That would mean the US is ridiculously isolationist.
