    • How did you create this fade effect in your image file detailing "A Fallout WIP TL of the Core Region (original Fallout locations) plus all NCR settlements"? I really want to use that in some way for disputed territories in some maps I'm making.

    This was during my primitive paintbrush days; I went over each and every row of pixels with the orange color at a different transparency value. It’s painful and took me about 2 hours of work, so I wouldn’t recommend it. You may be able to achieve a similar effect with the gradient tool on Photoshop or GIMP, but I haven’t messed around with that too much.
