      Hi! I'm not exactly a guru on things unfortunately. However, a pagan England tied to Scandinavia seems possible.

        Reading some earlier threads on the same topic, I wonder if a scenario with a weakened Wessex that is not able to conquer the lands in the east and north of what is in OTL called England is just as interesting a topic to explore.

        In one of the threads it was argued that it was easier to conquer the north, as this area was not as populated as the south. A more divided Germanic Britain with a Saxon southwest and a possibly larger Danelaw than in OTL could lead in interesting directions.
