There were volunteers from Estonia in Finland during Winter War.

Its an interesting book, makes you ask many questions about the mechanics of jumping and economics and logistics on different Earths. I've heard it's sequel is out already.

Oh, wow. I finally caught up to date on this TL. Started in late April, reading 10-15 pages every few days and got to page 300 yesterday. For some reason I managed the last 350 pages today. Exciting reading all around :D

The first thing I think of when I hear "Nuclear Powered Tank", is "Chernobyl on tracks". I picture a great Bolo-like tank with a nuclear reactor (or four) tacked on. :D

Getting the "Command and Conquer: The First Decade" box set is a good idea, you can play from the earliest games to the newest and see the developement etc. ;)
