In an unpublished TL of mine, I made OTL Linton, ND, the capital of a unified Dakota. It's location would be fairly central (at least, more so than Yankton or either of the OTL state capitals).
True. In fact, White Star could very well become the dominant partner (should the merger still happen ITTL). They may even get to complete the third Oceanic.
I've always had a fascination with Titanic (and early 20th century passenger liners in general), and am eagerly looking forward to wherever you take this. Hopefully Britannic will survive WWI this time around.
Portugal (along with Spain) had a claim to Barbados for roughly a century prior to the beginning of English settlement of the island in the 1620s. Perhaps Spain colonizes the island sometime in the mid-1500s, and then Portugal takes it with them after the Iberian Union is dissolved.
I'm going to be working on the major islands of the Caribbean. I'd already done most of the Lesser Antilles before realizing it was far too big, so that's where I'll start - at the right scale this time around - and go from there.
Here's my start on the Caribbean. Finished the Windward Islands, Barbados, and most of the Leeward Islands. Moving on to the Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico next.
I believe Gordonia is supposed to be roughly OTL South Sudan. As for Aksum, I'm guessing it's TTL's name for Eritrea (which also includes Djibouti, if I'm not mistaken).
Wasn't Samoa in its' entirety a US territory at this point as well, or was that retconned?
And great update, Mac Gregor. I like that there's still an Army Air Corps.
