Given the time period a Revolution could happen, it'd be more likely than not that Reagan would be part of the government, afterall he did when he was younger show interest in joining some Communist groups and it was'nt really until the 70's than he went right-wing.
Pretty much. Its the perfect storm for Labour TBH. Corruption, having a personal attack on the Opposition backfire, having a Tory kill the new PM...I think she's roleplaying with herself.

I have the Revolution take place during the Great Depression, and there is no USSR, so communism isn't really a big thing until the 30s. Reagan was an anti-commie as early as the forties. But I'm getting off topic here.

It is always a tragedy when a leader is taken from her people in this way. It is even more a tragedy when that leader is you own grandmother. I know, many people, today and in the future, will analyze her legacy. Roberta Rodriguez will in time bear the scrutiny of history. Her time as a state representative, a state attorney general, a governor, and as president: all will be the subject of discussion. And to me, and to those who knew her, all of that is meaningless. To us, she wasn't the President. She wasn't a politician. To us, she was our grandmother. To us, she was the woman who read to us as children. The woman who cared for us, who was there for us. She was an ear for our woes, our hopes, and our triumphs. Even at the height of crisis, even when she was sleeping four hours and working twenty, she would find time for us. President Rodriguez, or abuelita, as my family and I knew her, was a woman with fierce convictions, and limitless compassion. She was a friend to all who knew her. She was a lioness for those who depended on her. She was a hero to those who needed her. And she will be missed by all of us. However, standing here, I remember what she used to tell us. 'Life is always a struggle. It's hard, it's messy, and it's complicated. But it's also precious. That struggle makes it precious. If you want rainbows, nietecito,you have to deal with the rain.'
