TL-191: After the End

Just curious, but is there an analogue for the Southern Victory series in TL-191?

I also know that you have covered this, but I am unable to find the details what is the Star Wars analogue like?

Something for wide speculation here: What are the statuses of the following Canadian and American fascists/potential collaborators?
--Adrien Arcand (Founder of the Quebec-based National Unity Party. Will it become a French-leaning actionist party ITTL as a result of the Jewish schools controversy?)
--George W. Christians (Founder and Leader of the Crusader White Shirts)
--Chuck Crate (Founder of the Canadian Union of Fascists)
--Fr. Francis Coughlin (Canadian nationalist and rebellion leader in GW2? His leanings would have a different start by being ordained during GW1.)
--Robert Edward Edmundson (Made Judeo-Bolshevik conspiracy claims of control over FDR and the US government.)
--Elizabeth Dilling (Right-wing activist tried for her anti-Semitic, staunch anti-communist, and isolationist views during WWII.)
--William Dudley Pelley (The most speculated, and a very likely one as the most infamous seditionist of OTL during WWII.)
--Virgil Effinger (Leader of the Black Legion in Ohio, an offshoot of the KKK.)
--Ezra Pound (Would he instead write about travels across the CSA and Actionist Europe?)
--Gerald L.K. Smith (Unlike Huey Long, Smith was convincingly a fascist who blended Christian nationalism in his rhetoric.)
--George Van Horn Moseley (One speculated in Filling the Gaps for his overtly racist rhetoric as an TL-191 expy of Andrei Vlasov.)
--Gerald Burton Winrod (Pushed a rabid, anti-Semitic variant of early Christian fundamentalism IOTL out in Kansas.)

As an addendum to the top post, when does Quebec start to have a secularized public school system in order to gradually phase out the religiously private schools? Were attempts to set up separate Jewish schools successful ITTL?

I don't think there is a series ITTL that depicts the events of our world. That being said, there are several alternate history works ITTL as of 2022 that do cover worlds where the CSA never won its independence, though things are different compared to OTL. You can find them on Page 186 of this thread.

The closest analogue to Star Wars is a series of films released in the 2000's starting with the movie "Planet of the Flotsam," released in 2005. You can read more about the series in the 2000's chapter.

What Brazilian monarchy are like in Brazil?
How popular the monarchy are to the Brazilian people?
Are there any controversy about the Brazilian monarchy?

What the relationship between the Eastern Europe (Ukraine, Belarus, Lithuania and the Baltic States) and the Kaiser Germany/ USA?

Here is what I previously wrote about the countries of Eastern Europe, slightly edited and expanded.

By 2022, the Kingdom of Poland, the Kingdom of Finland, the Kingdom of Belarus, the Kingdom of Ukraine, the Kingdom of Lithuania, the Grand Duchy of Estonia, and the Grand Duchy of Latvia all have cordial diplomatic, military, and cultural ties with the German Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire. These countries are also close allies of the German Empire and the Austro-Hungarian Empire within the governing structures of the European Community and International Security Council. These countries also have cordial diplomatic ties with the USA.

By 2022, the Kingdom of Poland is ruled by a royal family descended from the kingdom’s first ruler, Archduke Charles Stephen of Austria.

The Kingdom of Belarus is ruled by a Hohenzollern monarch by 2022. The Kingdom of Ukraine and the Kingdom of Finland are also ruled by Hohenzollern monarchs by 2022.

The Kingdom of Lithuania is ruled by a monarch descended from the country’s first post-First Great War king, Mindaugas II. Latvia and Estonia are both grand duchies. The ruling Grand Dukes of Latvia and Estonia are both descended from German aristocrats who were placed into their positions of power by the German Empire after the First Great War.

Who did George Novak face in the 2020 election and how badly were Democrats defeated nationally that year?

In the 2020 president elections, Senator George Novak of Ohio, of the Socialist Party, managed to win against the Democratic Party nominee, Vice President Cadoc Breckon, and the Republican Party nominee, Governor Silas Irons of Manitoba.

The Democrats came in third place in the national popular vote for president, and also suffered severe losses in Congress. This was because of the unpopularity of the Astaire administration following the Great Housing Crash.

The Republican Party might have won the 2020 presidential election, had George Novak not selected a Republican running mate, Governor Andrew Wakefield of New Jersey. This caused a split within the Republican Party, and allowed Novak to win in important swing states.

In 2022 what states/seats are considered swing
Do Pacific Islanders, Asian Americans, or people from former Japanese territories largely vote for a specific party
After 1860, have any of the presidents been elected while losing the popular vote?

There is no close analogue in TTL to the TL-191 series by 2022.

By 2022, there is the quartet of US science fiction films directed by Ella Nunez: Planet of the Flotsam (2005), Moon of the Villains (2008), Star of the Harlequins (2011), and Galaxy of the Smugglers (2014). These movies were the first to make over a billion dollars worldwide.

By 2022, the biggest swing states in US presidential elections include Illinois, California, Ontario, and New Mexico.

There have been no post-1860 US presidential elections where the winner of the popular vote fails to win the election.

By 2022, the Pacific states (Micronesia, Melanesia, Polynesia, the Sandwich Islands, the Ryuku Islands) are electoral strongholds for the Socialist Party, although the Republican Party is strong in the Sandwich Islands because of support from the Mormon community.

By 2022, the Chinese-American community is the largest single Asian-American community in the USA. The Chinese-American community is also overall the second largest immigrant community in the USA, after the Mexican-American community. Other large Asian-American communities in the USA include those from Korea, the Philippines, and Vietnam.

The different Asian-American communities tend to follow the same trajectories as other immigrant communities in the USA. Newly arrived immigrants, or those in working in blue collar jobs, or those who live in the big cities, are more likely to vote for the Socialist Party, while those who work in white collar jobs or live in the exurbs close to the big cities, or those whose families have lived in the USA for two or three generations are more likely to vote for the Republican Party or the Democratic Party.

Bouncing off this, as of 2022, which states are considered “safe” for each party in US presidential election?

The Democratic Party tends to do well electorally in the Rocky Mountain West, New England, and the Midsouth. The Democratic Party is also strong in Ohio, although the Republican Party has become competitive there by 2022.

The Socialist Party tends to do well in the Pacific states, the Caribbean states, the Mid-Atlantic states, the Midwest outside of Ohio, and the Pacific Northwest.

The Republican Party tends to do well in the Canadian states and the Great Plains states, and has grown more competitive in regions such as New England, the Far Southwest, Mid-Atlantic states, Pacific Northwest, and the Midwest by 2022.

The strategy of the human powers that comprise the Grand Alliance in the First Interstellar War is to build up a large enough fleet of FTL-capable vessels before returning to the alien world with enough of a military force to ensure victory.

FTL travel, like all space-related endeavors, is very expensive and uses a lot of resources. Building a large fleet of FTL-capable vessels capable of transporting soldiers, weapons, supplies, and a manufacturing capacity for use beyond the Solar System takes the resources of all members of the Grand Alliance.

Indeed, the First Interstellar War will not be remotely pleasant. It is also far from the last of the Interstellar Wars that mankind will find itself engaged in, as interstellar exploration and colonization continues beyond the Solar System.
Mr. @David bar Elias, what are the characteristics of the aliens fought by humanity in the First Interstellar War?

Mr. @David bar Elias, what are the characteristics of the aliens fought by humanity in the First Interstellar War?

It would depend on which of the three possible planets the original Interstellar Expedition might have visited. The characteristics of the alien enemy faced by the Grand Coalition in the First Interstellar War are either those of the aliens who inhabit the second planet orbiting Tau Ceti, the aliens who inhabit the second planet orbiting Epsilon Eridani, or the aliens who inhabit the first planet orbiting Epsilon Indi.

Like the civilization of Earth, the respective civilizations of Tau Ceti 2, Epsilon Eridani 2, and Epsilon Indi 1 had alternate histories from the universe described in another Harry Turtledove series. Like on Earth in TTL, these different alternate histories stemmed from of a point of divergence centered around a single incident that took place sometime in the past on each world.
