A Flag Thread

I'm aware there's only 49 stars on this flag, but I couldn't be arsed finding a better way of putting the stars on the flag.

I've used the pan-Arab colours for this flag, because I think that the CSA would be friendlier to Arabs than the Jewish residents of what was then a British mandate.

Those are all GREAT flags!

I saw how people got pissed off at the challenges. However I would like some help in making some flags for my 2012 Nuclear War TL. I posted some flags earlier, but I don't like them that much. Before I post the actual request, I would like to know if anyone is actually interested.

If they are legitimate requests, then you will find several people interested (for example, see Hannibal's request). It is the endless list of pointless, random challenges that do not stimulate good flag design that bothers people.

I've been lurking for a couple of months now, figured this would be a good time to make my first post. Forgive me if this one has been done before.

This second one is kind of an abomination (I got the canton kind of screwed up), however I have been known to beat a dead whale, er, horse from time to time.

Is this a good flag ore can it be improve as I still work on a new German empire flag of my DDW timeline.

You really shouldn't have a canton in a flag with the same layout of stripes. The eagle is low quality, I assume it was quite small and you enlarged it? I suggest you find a larger version of it, like the one on this flag:

There are also quite a few mistakes, like that white gap between the right edge of the canton and the black stripe, and fact that the edges of the stripes aren't straight, horizontal lines.

You really shouldn't have a canton in a flag with the same layout of stripes. The eagle is low quality, I assume it was quite small and you enlarged it? I suggest you find a larger version of it, like the one on this flag:

Socialist Cascadia, for alternatehistorybuff. I chose the traditional colors of the Cascadian flag, added in a socialist red star, and then decided to use a whipsaw to symbolize the region's large timber industry. Took me *forever* to find a public domain whipsaw.

That England and Wales one doesn't look right.
