The tripartite relationship between the US, Royalist Canada, and the Republic of Britain would be incredibly interesting, even before we add France to the mix. If I remember right, relations between the newborn US and Revolutionary France were...complicated.

This is a world of disaster, of long-established world orders ripped up, of ancient monarchies cast low and of new clashing violently with the old.
In the Americas, a new nation, the United States of America, has arisen from the old 13 Colonies full of hope and optimism but every day straying further from those noble aspirations. Anti-Loyalist paranoia grips them, fears of new uprisings, sedition and treason from within blights the new nation whilst the old British colonies north of the Great Lakes are under the theoretical authority of William the Sailor Prince and guarded by the refugee army of Cornwallis and Arnold and the navy of Admiral Howe, no master in the motherland and no cause for which to fight but their own freedom. Elsewhere, Spain's decision to support the American Britons is paying out its own wages as the colonists of Spanish America question their own position and wonder why the motherland fought for the freedom that they're stilled deprived of. The same sedition that bore such bloody fruit in the 13 Colonies now lurks across the continent.
In Europe, Britain and France have cast off their monarchies, centuries of tradition crushed beneath the boots of rioters and revolutionaries. The bankrupt Bourbons' only palace is the guillotine basket and the hatred George IV, French puppet, scandal maniac and utterly spendthrift, is holed up in Hanover. France now finds itself, at least for the time being, at the mercy of the iron grip of Jean-Marie Collot d'Herbois, President of the National Convention, in the Reign of Terror whilst Britain's own revolutionary movement rooted in Protestant Dissenter traditions and scientific rationalism sets about reordering the nation under the watchful eyes of the Committee of the Rational led by Joseph Priestley and Jeremy Bentham. Despite their shared spirit of revolution, these two radical forces are not easy bedfellows, the British movement in particular heavily steeped in nationalist and especially anti-French fervour. Across the rest of the continent, the old monarchies of Austria, Prussia and Russia are terrified that these radical ideas might spread to their domains and search for ways to crush not only any attempts that might arise in their lands but also to crush the centres of this dangerous radicalism. Austria calls for immediate intervention, partly in revenge for the death of its princess, whilst Prussia eyes Hanover in the chaos and Russia is still not eager to commit its armies across vast distances to fight France. The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth lies between the three powers, desperately hoping they're too distracted to finish what they started in 1772. The Spanish find themselves stuck in the middle here too, too weak to fight the French themselves but its Bourbon King petrified that the revolutionary will come for him next.
In India, the British East India Company has been cut off totally from the political authority of the motherland, as well as all help it had once provided. Now it must fight the wars for the Mughal Empire's prizes by itself. Or rather, not quite. Thousands of refugees from Britain have flooded to both Canada and Bengal, bringing with them ships from the Royal Navy and, to Bengal, home of the strongest true British authority in the form of Warren Hastings' Council, has come the last heirs of the House of Hanover. Frederick Augustus, the soldier prince, came half a decade ago, fleeing his brother's wrath, with his mother and the rest of his family bar William. His presence and the skills of him and his mother, less so his either too young or too useless siblings, have helped Hastings to reinforce the Company's position in India against the Marathas, Mysore, the last vestiges of Mughal power and the other powers and there are clamours for him to be crowned King of Bengal.
The rest of the world is, at least for the moment, blissfully untouched by the flames consuming western Europe. They have their own problems certainly, the Ottomans, for instance, are drifting through a period of decline as centuries' old tradition and the power of the court and especially the janissaries against the Sultan as yet prevent any effort to restore their former glories. Only one power is truly at its peak, the distant and mighty Qing under the rule of the Qianlong Emperor, richer and more populous than any other.

This is a map I made for a nation game idea that I plan to run soon but to be honest most of the work didn't go into the alternate history elements, which just involved changing some colonies, but in building a 1776 map on an 'ultraworlda' as a base and finally adding the picture flourishes in the corners. Credit for the worlda resources that were used must go to @Library of Alexandria @Drex @Simreeve @Oliveia and @James the AH Fan.
I wonder if the influx of loyalists to Canada will cause them to try and expander earlier and faster than OTL, and how that will play out.

In the early 1870s, The Ethiopians would become aware of Europe's expansion into Africa and their industrial capability. It would become more apparent to them that they need to catch up to the Europeans as Japan did in their hopes of protecting Ethiopia from a potential European threat. Beginning in the late 1870s, the Ethiopians would begin to sell their gold and other metal to the European market allowing the country to fund its growing industry. The Ethiopians would see railways being created, connecting the empire together and making travel much easier. By the early 1890s, much of Ethiopia's industry had grown relatively fast, with the country trading with several world powers such as the British, Italians and French. Despite this, the Italo-Ethiopian war still occur, however, the Ethiopians were much more successful in TTL thanks to having a more modern army similar to the rest of Europe. The Italians would begrudgingly agree to hand over their colonies in Eritrea. By the turn of the century, industry in Ethiopia had skyrocketed and the country's living standard would steadily increased. The Ethiopians would remain neutral in the Great War, choosing to not get involved. By 1930 the country's industry would continue to grow, albeit now suffering from the Great Depression.
(BTW I'm aware that the borders are similar to its 1952 borders, I probably should have made it a bit more different.)

POD: in 1939 after Germanys invasion of Poland Hitler got the bright idea to supplement the armies pay with human meat, using the Nazi racial heirarchy .
The Polish Governate and the Czeck lands become pillaging lands for the cannibalistic Nazi command. Rumors fail to spread beyond the Pact of Steel, being silenced by Berlin and Rome, that is, until the invasion of France. Falling to the "Blitzkrieg" of the German armies, France was forced to retreat to Corsica. Under Himmler, the SS brought France into terror and dispair. Military leaders were allowed to kill anyone for the purpose to "sustain the hard working blood of the true Aryan Race". The German occupation zone was placed under Himmlers new "Cultivation Policy" to supply food for the SS. In the South, a French puppet escaped this fate under the sphere of influence of Rome, who, at this point, had still been cooperating with Germany.
With France under the boot of the Pact of Iron, Hitler prepared for "Operation Barbarossa". Hitler, Himmler, Kuchler, Jodl, Keitel, Boege, and Rosenberg all met in Königsberg the night before the decleration of war on the Soviet Union. As the inhuman men sat down for dinner in the dinner hall of Königsberg Castle, their food was served. None of the men knew it before hand, but Himmler cooerced his superior into serving the meat of the French and Slavic victims of the Holocaust. While meat had been served in small amounts up to this point, this marked the begining of the end of German stability.
War with the Soviet Union ends with the Russians retreating behind the Volga. In her place the Reichkommissariats, large states ran by ex-military leaders which perpetuated the Holocaust and German colonization. By the end of the War, most of the influental roles within German administration had become addicted to the meat, inflicting severe side effects to their mental and physical health. Instead of appointing skillful administrive rulers, Hitler was forced by the Army to apoint the generals as rulers. It's at this point German diplomacy fell apart as its leaders were brash and arrogant. Italy formed an alliance block from Spain to Romania, directly challenging Berlin.
By 1955 Germany has become a degenerate, unstable military state where once terrible men commanded armies, they now sit greedy and arrogant. Cities are pillaged, tens of millions are sent to concetration camps, awaiting a fate worse than death as cattle for the Nazis. In the German homeland the armies supposedly maintained for national security are unable to cooperate and organize blitzkrieg have made them utterly worthless, except for enacting terror on their lands. As German leaders physically and mentally rot, their enemies are smelling blood in the water and are ready to pounce.
Some Notes:
-While the political leaders of the Pact of Iron ate human meat in Berlin after victory against Russia, it was never used ritually outside of Germany.
-Bulgaria, along with the minor states in the Caucasus, are independant of either Rome or Berlin, though that will change when the situation becomes desperate.
-Growing more paranoid after German victory in Russia, Churchill refused to recognize the 1945 elections, even exiling Attlee for inspiring resistance across Britain. As IOTL Churchill was weak against Stalin during an alternate meeting of the great powers. His paranoia only worsened his health and in 1949 he publically anounced how a British state capable of defeating Hitler would need some form of Gestapo. Shortly after Churchill was forced to leave office, being replaced by Archibald Sinclair. He managed to win due to a more radical population tired of Churchills authouritarianism. He reformed the British Empire into a more decentralized, democratic, and progressive state.
-Romanian victories in Ukraine haven't gone unnoticed. Boege and Keitel have mounted a defense of their reichkommissariats, though due to their selfishness and narcissism they havent supported Jodl.

I probably couldve made it more realistic but I really just thought the idea was horrifying and wanted to show it off.
If anyone wants to expand on it, or offer suggestions or whatever, go ahead, its not my best work but I thinkts ok as an early venture into larger maps.
So beside addiction and slipping into insanity, are there some other effects of canibalism? Are some of them possitive? (I mean for those who eat, not those eaten of course)
