Sacred Fire of Liberty - the story of these United States

Laurentia, closest thing to (Anglo) Canada in this world.
Like the alternative geography this timeline has been doing so far.

If I may ask, what's the island south of Cape Breton belonging to the United States?
Sable Island, taken by John Paul Jones in the Revolutionary War
I think New Guernsey might be a cool alternate name for Wisconsin. Y’know, because of cheese.
Probably a bit too gimmick-y
Am I the only one who thinks West Connecticut should be renamed?
West Connecticut is actually one of the few names that’s entirely set in stone - it’s the name of the historical grant, and said historical grant is the only reason the state exists.
Besides, “Upper Connecticut” only really makes sense if the land in question is more northerly or higher elevated than Original Connecticut, neither of which are true. Anyways, hope that clarifies some stuff.

Any other questions about the US in 1820?
