“Japanese Colonial Wars 1964-1986”
The Japanese will definitely shooting against the Korean, Taiwanese and the Chinese against their Empire as well as European empire’s in the Late stages of 20th Century.

Colonialists will have definitely fight against the people who are Independence’s movement in Africa, Latin America and Asia.

I need a recap. Do European and Japanese colonies actually become independent or no?

Some decolonisation is totally inevitable. India would eventually lost most of its African colonies, India and Burma. Probably Ceylon too. And France would lost most of its colonies but probably van keep much more than in OTL. Germany too probably loses parts of its colonies. Not sure can Japan keep Korea.

Philippines is too going to get independence. USA just can't keep that.

Italy probably can keep whole of its colonial empire. Libya and Eritrea are lowly populated and Somalia too probably is easy to keep.

The U.S. was going to grant the Philippines independence by 1945. WWII delayed by a year.

With other European colonies, so it gets independent later than OTL or never at all? That means Hong Kong remains British then.

Likely to the Settler Colonies like Algeria, Libya, and Naimbia and Eritrea well not so easily be independent, likely a part of a Overseas territory like Falklands

DIdn't CHinese and British govenrment already agreed that Hong Kong is going to be reuttned to China? But Portugal might keep Macao and Germany too keeps some colonies.

Probably Japan can keep Taiwan. But all depends what there would happen and it is totally decision of anyone ot decide what there would happen. Japan anyway probably is going cause some mess there.

Hong Kong was supposed to be in perpetuity. The same way for Gibraltar in OTL.

With that said, will there still be foreign concessions in China to this day? Meaning Shanghai has tons of foreign concessions and Germany keeps the Tientsin concession. Also, the U.S. had an "enclave" in Tientsin during the Boxer Rebellion.

If Micronesia would remain Japanese, so we could see some Japanese migration into the South Pacific?

Photo of Infamous Russian Dictator Ivan Kalmykov (5 September 1890 – 20 August 1973)
Ivan Kalmykov came to power in 1934, through a coup that took the revolutionary socialist party from power, and started a dictatorship in Russia, Kalmykov ruled Russia for more than 40 years, a period characterized by authoritarianism, promotion of a national identity unity, national orthodoxy and discriminatory language policies.

During the 1930s, Russia would go through many turmoil, in 1936 with the outbreak of the Turkish Civil War, Russia saw the opportunity to fulfill its ambitions of conquering more territories in the Caucasus, but also its long-term goal of possessing Constantinople. This, however, would not come to fruition, as Britain would once again prevent them from taking too much territory.

In 1940 the Svalbard War began, the Svalbard region was disputed by Russia and Norway due to its natural coal reserves, the war began after an incident between the Russian navy and a Norwegian freighter, which ended up being sunk, Norway accused Russia of unfounded aggression, while Russia blamed Norway for the incident, after months of tension and unresolved agreements, Russian troops were sent to the border and invaded Norwegian territory in October 1940, despite superior military force. , especially in tanks and aircraft, Russia suffered heavy losses and initially made little progress, Sweden entered the war after Russian troops entered its territory, after two years of war, The Moscow treaty ended up establishing the Svalbard archipelago as an International Zone, controlled by both countries, Russian losses were heavy and the country's international reputation suffered, defeat in the war would lead to a wave of nationalism in Finland, which would result in the region's independence in 1954, and the independence of Poland in 1944.

Such a reputation would be regained after the end of the Turkish Civil War of 1944, Russia would see substantial territorial gains in the Caucasus, mainly Armenia, despite not being able to annex Constantinople directly

Due to secret deals made between the Russian Empire and the Empire of Japan, the two would divide up northern China. Russians had been moving north from Inner Manchuria since the constriction of the Trans-Siberian Railway and Harbin was a sprawling city with a mostly Russian population. As more and more Russians moved there, a situation similar to that of the United States and Mexico in the mid-19th century arose: The Chinese government would lose control over these regions as it was in a civil war and with more and more Russians crowding in and even Chinese people there not liking Nanking, parts of East Turkestan, Outer Mongolia and northern Inner Manchuria would declare independence and ask to join Russia.

In the 1960s, Russia would experience an unprecedented pace of economic growth, driven by industrialization, a mass internal migration from rural areas to Saint Petersburg, Moscow, Novorossiya, Siberia and Central Asia, and the creation of a mass tourism industry. .

With Kalmykov's death in 1973, Vladimir III would regain most of his powers as tsar of Russia and head of state. In 1976, a new Russian Constitution would restore democracy and the Government would devolve much authority to the regions and create an internal organization based on autonomous districts.

Kalmykov is a controversial figure in Russia, on the one hand he led to an era of economic prosperity in Russia that would see the country become one of the largest economies in the world, on the other hand it did so through wars, genocides, and the brazen authoritarianism that affected Russia to the present day
So is Ivan Kalmykov basically this No WW1 World is Russian Stalin.
He caused Oppression and Persecution under his rule for 40 years especially in Central Asia, Siberia and Manchuria of their inhibitions.
This is not to mention that he likely has some Antisemitic policy like Hitler that will have Many Jews to migrate out of Russia to America and Western Europe.

Jews are not the Only that Ivan regime will Persecuted, likely that Central Asian, Muslims Tatars, Siberian natives and Chinese will also be Fuck over by His Regime and Don’t forget about the Forced Sterilization and Assimilated by the Russian State.

To the Ethnic Minorities and Political Opposition will think that Ivan Kalmykov is basically Russian Hitler.

But on the other hand he pretty much make Russia into a great power and expanded the motherland to include many settlements that will caused by him And enabled by him. He really extend the Russian economy and even make rubles into a a valuable currency (Unlike Putin tho) And Helpful to centralize and produce many Russian cultures to outside of Russia to know for around the world 🌎.

He helps Russia to become as Developed and Modernized just like in USA and Great Britain especially In Urban expansion in the 1960s and Helps it’s to be a Tops of the World with a Good Economy.

Honestly Ivan legacy’s will highly be like Mao in China. An leader that helped Modernize, Developed, Education and literacy to their Nation into leading World Power and Powerhouses but Causes many Deaths and Suffering under their Regime.

There will still be Many people in Political, Nobles and Common folks in This Russia will think Ivan Kalmykov is an Hero of Mother Russia and Deserves to be Remembered as such like with Italian American with Christopher Columbus.

But I don’t know, what do you think about it and help expand this discussion?

You basically summed up most of Mother Russia's legacy in the scenario you created
Honestly there’s pretty much yeah, his legacy will be controversial to most young Russians after his regime likely in the late 2000s to the 2010s.

The Older generation who grew up with Ivan Regime and The Second Gens who Admire him will Respond to Youths of Russian who criticize and even denounce Ivan as a Bloody Murder like this

They also one thing that we haven’t talked about, Russian Animation.
Russian animations are obscure and were Restricted by Soviet Government in OTL., that nobody know about its, plus Many Russian animators move because of the Soviets revolution and restriction that caused him to move out.

Wikispa Russian Animated

In this scenario that never happened and many of them will likely expand and even maybe spread around Russian Animation to the west and even to America, Plus many of the Russian artist wouldn’t died and leave because World Wars, Soviet KGB and The economy going down the toilet as in OTL.
Russia before WW1, was know for its Growing Stop Motion industry and its still have to this Day but as big as before the Russian Revolution.
So if Kaiserreich333 and I go to TL Russia, there’ll be a lot of stop motion shows and films that were made and produced by Russia. Hell maybe it will be the Russian equivalent of anime and will be ship around the world especially in Europe likely in Poland and AH.

So expect to be Many Stop Motion and Animated films and shows in Russia Media and Foreign Films, maybe even TL Russia will be “Capital of Stop Motion Animation”

These many works will export to Europe 🇪🇺and America 🇺🇸 like with Anime and just like Anime will Massively popular of Russia animation.
Russian animated films 🎥 will be Popularized and Famous as French / Japanese animated industry.
