Beneath a Steel Sky: A WWII Alt-History story (Pt. I)

To begin, lets diverge slightly from the known timeline. In this story, Hitler abstains from making 3 vital errors. One, he ignored Churchill's bombing raid over Berlin, continuing to bomb ports and RAF bases. This ensures his invasion of Britain goes off without a hitch. Second, he never invades the Soviet Union. This is what ended up dooming the Third Reich, as the Bolsheviks' counteroffensive pushed the Nazis back into Berlin. Finally,, Hitler never declares war on America, leaving Japan to fend for itself against the US Navy.
As Nazi Germany conquers Europe, so does Russia conquer Asia. Canada, Mexico, and South America, afraid of these brand new superpowers, flocked to join the United States, forming the United Confederation of North and South America. When the Germans finally march on London, Hitler is declared Kaiser of the new Nazi German Empire, with a elaborate celebration to commemorate it. The Soviet Union absorbs the People's Republic of China into the United Socialist Federation of Eurasia, though not without fierce resistance.
After all is said and done, Hitler, Stalin, and Truman meet in Geneva to discuss the future, more specifically; Oceania. As the weeks go by, Australia becomes more and more resistant to the superpowers' subjugation, culminating in the 1947 Sydney Insurrection, led by James Harold Hallehran. The resistance fought on for 3 more years, until the decisive allied victory in the Battle For Brisbane. Afterwards, the rebels suffered defeat after defeat, until Hallehran was forced to make peace. In the end, Australia became a fully-incorporated US territory, whilst Germany obtained New Zealand, and Russia acquired the Indonesian Islands.
Now with the issue of the Insurrection dealt with, the three great powers are the only ones left. As they begin to settle in, they all realize that conflict is inevitable. Knowing that, they all begin to secretly invest heavily invest into their military and bio-organic research. Now, the world's a tinder box, and if you know anything about Tinder, it only takes one spark to burn it all down...

TO BE CONTINUED - THE WARSAW INCIDENT

I think this story is better on Writer's forum if you want to continue it. As it was pointed out, it falls under the ASB category.

Implausible is not the same as ASB, and the Writer's Forum is not a garbage dump for implausible scenarios. This is in the right place.

Now, would you like to start off by explaining how attacking ports (diverting effort from the Airfields, since any effect on shipping wont have any effect in time to affect SeaLion) helps to destroy the RAF?
And, since the destruction of SeaLion didn't depend on the British having a viable RAF, how they manage it anyway?

Second, since Hitlers whole ideology and economic future was based on destroying the USSR and communism, why germany suddenly decides not to do so?

Lots of other issues, but lets start with these two...

Seconded, Sealion is probably the single most discussed topic on this board, hence the sticky. It is basically impossible and as you say invading the USSR is the entire point of Hitler's entire ideology. This may not be ASB, it does however invoke multiple implausible PODs and treads over ground that has been argued out dozens of times without offering anything by the way of an explanation as to how these miraculous changes have been achieved.

Germany bombs ports and RAF bases, and as a result, the invasion of Britain goes off without a hitch.

Right.

Ok.

Where can I get that amount of handwavium? I am reasonably sure we've hit critical mass of it here.

Hitler had a plan for invading Britain? Really? I know that Operation Sealion was a thing, but given the fact that the Heer and the Kriegsmarine couldn’t even agree on where the landings would be, “plan” is something of an exaggeration surely?
We shall consult the Book of AltHistory and it doth say in letters of brass that Sealion would have failed in a most bloody fashion without PODs in the 20’s or possibly 30’s.

Need to have a bit more detail in how these POD’s happen. I am all for way out there timelines. Some here are in my opinion too much that would never happen and dismiss ideas than I am but having a person or event change so much needs so kind of rationale even it’s it’s a far fetched or head scratching one. It’s not ASB as nothing here is out of the realm of the possible. All POD’s are extremely ludicrously ridiculously unlikely and together it’s X3 extremely ludicrously ridiculously unlikely but flush it out with some more detail.

Yeah, to make these all work requires..well a lot of work because the details thus far are basically

"World war 2 stars, then Hitler has a cheese sandwich and then the Nazis control New Zealand." kinda missing out a bit in the middle.

Also these are Notzis.

One of the main and central pillars of the whole Nazi ideology was Lebensraum in the East and the destruction of the Untermensch by the Aryan Ubermensch. IE the Slavs and the Germans.

Remove that because Hitler had a change of mind at the last minute because reasons/ham sandwich/Gophers then you've not got Nazis. If they were like that before the war, then its not Nazis. The plan to carry out Generalplan Ost was very much a nazi thing. Can't have one without the other.

Also calling this 'implausable' is a tad of an understatement.
